Q: HOW DO THEY REALLY FEEL WHEN THEY CHEAT AND LIE TO YOU?
This case is very common and rapidly growing and expanding in all corners of china and seems having no end.
I was called this year to participate on the TV program for the second time, the program is held every year here in Nanjing and only foreigners are allowed to participate, the program is aimed at singing Chinese songs and expressing Chinese culture in different ways like performing Beijing opera, touching Chinese singing instruments etc
when contestants participate in the program, they think it's a competition where one can bring his/her best song or whatever to illustrate to the public but instead, they are given Chinese songs to sing and they are jointed into groups of at least 10 contestants from different parts of jiangsu province,they never know each other until the event time. so during the event, the host i.e jiangsu broadcasting corporation, always give you empty promises such as you will be paid, we will provide everything you need for you, but instead when you take place in the event, no one care about you,but they care about what you can give to them,they care nothing about if you have other personal things to do. I was very reluctant to attend this year's event, but everyone from the TV called me including the director of the TV, telling me they will pay me and make some ads for me about my music,but all I received is nothing but discrimination,lies,waste of time and energy and the overall despise from them, not even a simple thank you for attending the program. this people always want you to give them what they want but they instead never care about what you want, is this fair?
Maybe I think you still did not find the right people and the right place, please believe most the Chinese are nice people, thanks.

unless you have a 'relationship/guangxi' with them, or can make them a lot of money then you are expendable.They certainly won't be thinking twice about how they treated you.....
why should you participate without making any written agreement??? if you were actually doing that for money/
it was supposed to be a win-win cooperation actually, i was not there for money but for the ads. am a musician and I just released a mixtape and I wanted them to make ads for me and they promised to do it, they recorded the ads in my with their cameras but they never displayed it up till now, I have asked them and no reply but still did they promise to pay the contestants not me only but they never did.
You live in China, but you don't seem to know how China works. There's a saying where I live: Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. In other words, if they fooled you once, well, you didn't know, so don't blame yourself. But the fact that they fooled you twice...you should have known better.
