Q: How do you spend your time? Are you free to do what you like?

I used to listen to the radio, but not any more as it's been blocked for 4 months now.  I used to communicate with the outside world through email, but not now.  It's been blocked for a month.  I used to ride my bike on pathways by the river that appear to have been purpose built for bicycle riding, but now there's cheap police to prevent me from doing that.  I used to jerk off to jap porn but now, no no no.... Yesterday I was prevented from booking a hotel on Agoda.

How do you spend your time in this godforsaken, retarded, racist hellhole full of nationalistic drones/zombies?

Are you hanging around for much longer?

I go out and let my dog scare old women and children. It doesn't work always as he is really friendly and cute, but still, some people are just terrified of dogs.

I can't figure out why you choose to live Xinjing.

Come to the coast where the skirts are short and the pollution thickangel.

Scandinavian:

or to Zhuhai where the pollution is moderate and the skirts are short 9 months per year

Because I really can't stand China.  Xinjiang offers more.  I lived in Qingdao for a couple of years a while back.

Next week I'll be on a real beach...it's about 4 hours north of Sydney and everything will be blue blue blue.  And the beer will be cold cold cold.  I'm going to eat oysters and prawns and wife.  Happy days!

Xinjiang food is better than Chinese food.

If things are still blocked here when I return I'm going to pay for a reliable vpn.

Cheers Scotsman!

Oh, got real pissed last night and resorted to my default film when I get home late in that state....Watched Billy Jack again.  It's brilliant.

Free time? Not much of that at the moment. Mostly eat, drink and be happy. Of course there's the side distraction once a while. Other than that, work bogs me down mostly.

Oh well.  They've gone mad with various restrictions out here in recent times.  I'm told that the Uyghir people have been banned from dancing in Urumqi's People's Park.  The only reason for anyone to go to Urumqi is to check out the Uyghir dancing.

Oh, there is another reason to go to Urumqi.....that's to get on an aeroplane and get the fuk out of here!

4 more sleeps...

Evening, I go running. Since 2013, I can't run when I want, due to pollution levels being to high sometimes. If I run with PM2.5 > 150, I feel my lungs are burning after exercising. Sometime, the day after, I've a minor bronchitis and spit a bit of thick green mucus.

Work leave not much free time... I go out with my wife for a walk or ride bike whenever it's possible. Reading a book is always nice. I program things for fun, tinkering whatever I feel to tinker with. I plan to start to practice ukulele so I can play for my future kids. Preparing my escape (lots of research work, getting this paper, that certification, etc.) is eating quite of my free time those days. Yesterday, I figure out it might take *ONE YEAR* to process my visa application to Greener Grass >_<

Yes, a thin band of nice grass, half of it being monopolized by tu hao dwellings. But indeed, a walk around the lake is a mood lifter and we are lucky to have this.

Ukukeke?!?! Get a real guitar!!

No, seriously, have fun with the Uke! May I suggest this tuning: DADG

It's called 'drop D tuning', the key is you fret every string at the same fret to change chords. Easy to play and quickly change chords. OK, no more free Ukulele Metal Lessons for you!

Simple pleasures.

Once a week a make a two hour round trip drive to taste real pizza.

Try to keep up with around 3 shows at a time so i can feel a little connected.

I started going for walks/ runs alone listening to music and just be alone.

Alternate weekends between friends and the wife. We usually try to do more than eat and drink but usually fail athough we have tentative plans to try fishing tomorrow. Although i am imagining its just eating and drinking with a fishing rod.

I spend an Ungodly amount of time visualizing. I always have a large goal and thinking of achieving it makes me happy. Im planning on a new car within 3 months so i spend too much time researching. And i love test driving cars. Also want to buy land in thailand so heavily researching laws and things like that. I feel like if im constantly focused on achieving goals it drives me to actually do it.
Too bad im not as focused on losing weight.
