i have been in a school for 2 months but i have not been happy there.My new school has applied for my new fec should i wait until i have got my new fec and then resign and the rumor from past workmates is that my headmaster shafts people on pay and cancels visa when people want to leave.
how can i get my employer to give me a release letter and full pay before i leave.

I know of at least one school that demands a copy of the death certificate of your family member if you use this a reason to break the contract.
They even said that they wanted to see the medical information if a death is not cited and you use 'family medical emergency' as an excuse.
Look at your contract and see if any of the terms have been breached.
document any problems/issues you have.
do everything above board and make sure you are not the one causing the problems.
AFTER PAYDAY! If your contract requires you to give 30 day written notice you have two choices... 1) comply with your contract, or 2) Cite a family medical emergency that requires you to leave China. If you do neither one of these they probably will not give you your release letter to screw you over for leaving them. (Common in China)
but if use option 2 how can i reenter china when my visa has 5 months to go.
