I guess Im not the only one in this Boat
My mother in-law had a stroke a long time back and she had another one this year
We pay a friend to help out with some of the care and the rest of the family pitch in also
How do you guys in this position get by?
We can't stay in China full time so when we are there we do our bit
however us and the rest of the family need more expert help
Are there any aged care facilities in China?
or nurses that can come to your home once a week?

i am sure that there are a few ways to do it, but I will relate to you what a good friend of mine did. The person involved is 87 years of age, still functioning rather well, but with a few small problems that does require the close help of a nurse once in a while. He visited the local hospital, found a willing nurse, and now she lives at his home, does take care of all health related needs, brings him to doctors for needed check ups as needed, and gets a salary for her effort. This has been going on for about 5 years now, and many not in the need think they are a couple, she is that nice to him.

iT WOULD DEPEND ON LOCATION AND JOB REQUIREMENTS MOSTLY. My friend expalined above pays 4500 rmb monthly, plus room and board, but the lady does everything from cleaning to cooking, and everything else in between, on 24/7 basis.
