Q: How much do HTC phones go for, and where do you get em?

Been looking everywhere for these babies, no luck.

Anyone know where to buy legit HTC phones and how much they go for in Shanghai?

Depending on the model they can go from 1500 - 8000.  HTC is illegal to sell in China, so don't expect to find them in the major stores.

However, if you go into a major mall and ask one of the phone sellers, they will normally know where they are sold.  Normally, they are in one of the sub basement levels.

Yes & no. It is a crazy story. Anyway, the legal version here in China is Dopod which is not nearly as good in my opinion. And they are crazy expensive.

I was reading alot about phones lately. HTC are rated better than Samsung. I had several Samsung and one Samsnug that I mistaken bought in China. The droid phones are supposed to be more popular that iphones. The droids cost more to make , while the iphone is made for peanuts and sells for a fortune. This doesn't answer your question. Just some info. I see them on Ebay. but from anything other than a brand name store, i would be afraid of fake phones. They have fake HTC on eBay too.

Actually, the Samsung Galaxy II is an awesome phone. It will probably be my next one if something cooler doesn't come out in the mean time.

HTC Sensation is similar, there is also Desire S, Evo 3D,Salsa, Wildfire, Desire HD,HD7 I don't like too many choices, then I can't make up my mind,
Basically revues say the HTC feel better , while the Samsungs feel light and plastic.

The HTC phones often have metal backs making them feel better. I just bought an  iphone 4. The guy had the wrong SIM card in it, so I gave him $150. easy fix.

Kerry EverBright Store in Changning District nr Line 3. They have a huge multi level mall there selling all sorts of phone. HTC is kinda big there too starting from 1500rmb. That's where I got my HTC Chacha for 1600rmb.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
