Q: How much do you pay for your haircut?

Curios to see what the different rates are going around China.  Has anyone gotten a haircut over 100 rmb? How about below 50 rmb?

Those aren't real salons that want to charge you 100

30 RMB, Yixing. Two different places, same price. Also, not good enough at Chinese to do all the talking about it in Chinese, so these places have at least one person who knows a few English words. I'm not sure if that affects the price or not.

Current haircut is sub-optimal, btw.

Although they show you the price, maybe 20 or 30 ,but when foreigners say 5 yuan ,8 yuan ,some of the hairdresser will say “OK”.Bur we local person cannot get a reasonable price.

GuilinRaf:

Really??!! What city is this? Usually they try to double the price with me! When i point out in Chinese what their sigh says, 15 yuan, then they laugh and say "ok" after having told me it was 25 to 30. Maybe I should move there....
