As Hot water said ,couriers are the way to go .
The down side it can still take a month for a parcel to arrive in China .
it's a bit quicker coming out of China from my experiences.

In my experience it's not at all reliable and I don't trust it. Most things sent to me never arrived.

Other's experiences may differ.

Stealing? Maybe, I'll probably never know what happened to my stuff that never arrived but I think theft is a real possibility. Then again, knowing how utterly incompetant people can be I think there's also a chance they're sitting in an office corner somewhere because someone forgot to deliver them.

From what I've seen a lot more people are now sending things through couriers in China (Shunfeng, etc) instead of using the China Post service. It's quicker, etc

I have never had a problem receiving mail/having something that I sent arrive, both sent internally in China and sent abroad.  Anything crossing international boundaries I put the address and phone number in both Chinese and English, so that might play a factor.

Yeah, there is a postal service and it is very different than mosy of us are used to.

Mailed items might arrive or not. I have had many things mailed to people

and the merchandise never arrived most of the time... stolen, I guess.

We need to make use of it often; couriers not the slow China Post.

Companies like EMS are swift and affordable, though there are breakages on a rare occasion.

The worst incident was when a package arrived at the local pickup centre, but the staff didn't call the recipient. We called them, and with great reluctance they confirmed that it was there. They couldn't read the undamaged label, they claimed. Before handing it over, they played police officer, trying to scare the recipient with questioning like "Does this box contain milk formula?"
After it was clear the recipient wouldn't be scared away from receiving her property, they handed it over. One formula box had been opened by them.

Courier companies want to do business, so of course they'll deliver good service to build rep. But employees are a mixed bag. The wrong one in the wrong place can spell trouble.

I buy things on taobao almost every day for the past 3 years and never had problems. Only once the box was torn and it was returned back to the seller. All of the companies work well, even China Post.

If you want parcel to be received you MUST always write down phone number of the addressee.

Once I ordered a game from US and was waiting for it  almost half a year. Opened a dispute with a shop, they sent another box... nothing... another one... And Finally I got it, ALL 3 of them!  Shop in US didn't write down my phone number  on first two parcels, so local FedEx could not contact me.

Depends... internationally... it is HORRIBLE.

Domestically, it isn't bad... if you go with a courier service...

http://www.breitbart.com/national-security/2016/08/01/breaking-the-cross-islamic-state-magazine-mocks-christianity-claims-jesus-is-a-slave-of-allah/

CUB, this article is for your reading pleasure, nobody else here will care about it, and most will just say its right wing propaganda, but I have a copy of the real magazine. sadly, its true.

cub:

retired, im not surprised about the article because satan has been doing this decieving men 1000s of years so its nothing new to me. Its amazing the muslim god ''allah'' is a moon god fake And really, a christian dont worship Jesus on a wooden cross. Sure Christ died there but he raised from the grave 3 days later so a cross is a symbol thats all to a christian. Its what Christ did there over 2000 years ago becoming a perfect sinless sacrifice that knew no sin but took sins debt upon himself to be a sacrifice to pay sins debt. Did mohommed wage and fight wars killing non mulims and marry a 9 year old? yes but jesus didnt do this Did Christ die for mankinds sin and condem men to death if they didnt convert to christianit? no. Believe in what i said or not its your choice to believe or not Satan is the father of all lies so no, im not surprised satan has many agents helping him do this work. Time is short and satan knows this

my favorite question to a muslim and i have met many in my life, some under fire, has always been, if jesus did not die on the cross and he is just a prophet, then what to hell happened to him, Did he go to a monastery and jack off for the rest of his life? If he is considered a great prophet even to Muslims, then what did he do, when did he die, how many kids did he have?  THEN , you get the famous blank stare, then they storm off mad like a democrat who can only attack your character because the results of their crap did not work but the good intentions is what is important.

Retired, i agree and the other response is that a muslim will try to shout u down drown out all civil conversations u were having with him. That ''blank stare'' is because they have no answer because a question like u ask them they dont know the answer have been programed only so far

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
