I want to get a teaching job in China as I have heard that English language is gaining popularity by leaps and bounds.
Moreover the teaching environment is also conducive to any teacher who can maintain a good relationship with them. I just want to make sure that I chose the right employers and right environment to teach and that too as soon as possible.

I would suggest that you go back to school as a student and learn proper English.
Next, get with the times - English is dying in China.
You want to have a good relationship with...the environment?
Case closed, next please!

Why would you say that learning English is not so popular there anymore? It will be even more popular because this new two-child policy will mean an extra few million kids in 2-3 years. Those kids will all need English teachers.
Sinobear:
Let's see: English being removed from the Gaokao (now they have three chances to memorize the answers). English being pulled from kindergartens. "International" programs being shut down.
Papa Xi doesn't want any more 'Chinese treasures' going overseas (or maybe just their parent's money).
Training Centers? Used to be one or two on every corner of every street of every town of every province...now?
Thinking of the two-child policy as a future guarantee for English training is as naive as thinking that China has 1.4 billion potential customers for any product.
Chhris:
Where did you hear about no English in kindergartens? I found info about the gaokao but nothing about kindergartens.
Sinobear:
Taiwan first stopped allowing FTs for kindergartens now they have removed English from the curriculum. It's only a matter of time before English is banned here, and moves up the grades.
Papa Xi wants to stop capital flight and the best way to do that is to stop the students from going overseas to study.
There are always scores of jobs that will offer employment as soon as you can get into China (if not already here). There will be a lag phase while your visa is being processed and that might take a few weeks to complete.
There could be issues if you are not from USA, UK, AUS or NZ. Having a username like Maninder sounds as though you might hail from the subcontinent. That will reduce the options available but not entirely eliminate your chances.
Finally, like many of this forum, I would strongly advise against working on any other visa but an employment 'Z' visa.

No, 'We' don't. Although 'We' don't know who gave you the thumbs-down or why. 'We' will ask the 'Muricans to sic the FBI on them.

Apply for jobs that need someone super quickly. They actually do exist, assuming you are qualified of course.
fools rush in (to China) where folks fear to live/work.
most training schools will take you, but try to get your contract as short as possible for the beginning, 6 months instead of a year, so you have other options for another school or escape, 12 months with a lousy employer is not a good experience.
