Q: How would China fare in the zombie apocalypse?
Just wondering what you think.

It depends on if you were one of the few survivors, or one of the walking dead! Just think, as a survivor, there would be, like, billions of zombies after YOU! They would be everywhere, and no way you would get outta the country alive, mainly 'cause you couldn't get access to a good sawed off shotgun (or even a baseball bat) and would have to fight your way out with chopsticks.
I still want to see a good western styled zombie movie made in China...
I tried showing my grade 12 pupils pictures of zombie's.
They seemed scared.
I made them give nouns for Horror genre baddies. Undead, monster, eats brains (verbal phrase). Stuff like that. Did some role play. Worked out well. Can send you the lesson plan if you want.
Hopefully, when the apocalypse does come, my pupils will know what they enemy is, and take a herioc stand in dealing with them.
5000 years of history,plus zombies they would probally runaway
The people would be unaware because the medias wouldn't say a world about it. So it'll start as, let's say, a zombie in a village. The whole village gets infected (since weapons are forbidden in China, there aren't many ways to defend yourself when zombies catch you with your pants down), the zombies move to other villages, then to a town, then spread some more, and once they reach the capitals, game over.
That, or they just nuke the village or town quickly, no questions asked, and no record of its existence (like in the Simpsons movie).
I've read a lot of zombie fiction and most of the zombie plagues actually start in China because it's so dirty and people are crammed together. Also, private gun ownership is illegal so...yeah.
Oh, that would be a horror. Imagine trying to get anywhere. Everyone would be walking really slow, ambling around seemingly aimlessly.
They would stare at you with dead, empty eyes that are devoid of thought or reason.
They would all be moaning unintelligible sounds.
They would herd together like sheep and form huge crowds around anything the wanted. Everyone pressing together, pushing and shoving to make sure they got it first.
Once they got what they wanted, they would just leave the waste behind without any concern for public health.
You know, now that I think about it, it might already be too late.
Hmm, I see a lot of people playing Plants vs. Zombies on their iPads and iPhones everyday. Maybe they're practicing?

Not a chance. Unless nukes are used these SOBs wont die.
To be an average citizen of China, you wouldn't stand a chance. The lack of awarness to surroundings, along with the population density, the infection would spread rampant. The media would keep it hush hush so even if you are in an zombie free village at the moment, you wouldn't get any warning. And if you did happen to survive the zombies, the government would bomb the town out of existance just to keep from the bad news getting to the outside world.
