Q: How is your country's demographics?

https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2016/06/chinas-twilight-years/480768/

I love how progressives think immigration is the answer for every country in the world. If nobody is having sex, just have no borders, problem solved.

This article reads like a re-run of Japan or Italy for the last 30 years.

I cant be arsed to read the article... but lets consider borders.

What is the closest border to you?

You know, a border where there is a race difference, a colour difference, any difference?

How far are the sub humans from your castle? Where the Castle doctrine stands firm, and you are the one with God on your side.

Cant be more than the circumference of the earth.

How far are our next closest neighbours?  80k years away?  2 billion light years away?

Are you hoping the future civilisations we encounter over the next billion years will be Christian conservatives that blindly support the idiot Trump?

Or do you know for a fact, that the New Jesus will subscribe to Anne Coulter on youtube?

The absolute folly of Trump introducing a reasonable immigration plan and everybody slamming it when Canada and many other so called civilized countries do the same thing is the epiphany of hypocrisy regardless of your political persuasion.

Hmmm - I'm sure I answered this (and some other posts...).

What you don't seem to get is that an older population is bad for a country... the expenses in looking after the elderly (welfare, hospitals, etc) start taking up more of the tax cake - a cake that's getting smaller because there are less people contributing to it (ie, workers).

From an earth impact perspective - good!

But from most other perspectives - bad.

A:  It depends on which part of the lake region you want to visit. Most start from NanChang, the shortest distance to the lake is about 30km  and 186km to the government run wetland park, marked by the hut shape symbol on the upper right corner of the map below

October is too early to see the migratory Siberian cranes. November onwards is better, their number peaking in between December and January. The dry season lasts from Sept to April.

Here are some photos taken by a retired local during his self-drive tour of Poyang Lake, dating Oct. 17, 2016. Those birds in the photos are reared by the locals, most likely for tourists' benefits. https://www.mafengwo.cn/i/7787641.html Maps and photos from a local who did a one day tour of the area, in December 2016. http://www.mafengwo.cn/i/6487139.html?static_url=true -- earthizen
