I was out walking with my son on Saturday and this guy on an ebike almost ran us over,we were on a street near our place where they have markets and places to buy your Chinese breakfast. A lot of parents and children walk through this little street.
why the hell would you ride at someone with a child.the guy knew dam well what he was doing Im sure of it. I saw him laugh as well when he almost hit us.
This is a nasty, antagonistic society we've found ourselves in. They haven't evolved socially in the same way as western countries and have thus not yet developed certain sensibilities, namely treating others the way they'd like to be treated. We owe our social consciousness to Jesus, I reckon (do unto others...etc). I'm not religious, btw, hail satan.

He is wealthier than you, so he has 'right way'.
That happened all the time in China, despite I'm waking in shoes more expensive than their e-bikes.
In Xinjiang, pedestrian crossings close to the Primary school were un-attended by cops during the lunch break. Kids are everywhere, but 'audis' and trucks, buses roam the roads with ease. I walked in Fuk. with cop's whistle in my pocket, because I lived in the same housing complex as kids, and we usually walked home together.
Here in Henan, we have cop regulating school's pedestrian crossing at 6:10pm, when is end of the classes. No cops at lunch break.
The men will sometimes "bump" into you on purpose too, even if there is enough room for them to pass without having to do so. I witnessed this type of male BS in Thailand, but it occurs here as well. Im certain it is a form of passive aggression in both our instances.

Yeah, I get that sometimes too. Lucky I am solid oak so the little turds just bounce off.
