Q: I'm really scared for dooms day.can wnyone help me to come out through this phobia?
Everybody knows that China will decide if/when the world ends, not the Mayans, so you have nothing to worry about this weekend.
Go in a 24 hrs bar..and be there till dooms day..dont forget to continue your drink..I am sure neither you will remember dooms day nor your will fear..

Well, remember the 21st of May 2011 end of the world buzz? I don't know maybe you were in China then but it was so big in every other country... An American guru put billboards and used other media in a LOT of countries; There were adverts and billboards warning people about that the world would end on the 21st of May 2011...obviously that didn't happen; now they are trying their hand at another date, some December date... What people might not know is that this is an old thing, they have been doing it for ages.
Actually there is more, if you weren't anonymous I would PM you some information regarding the matter...note that I haven't mentioned my stance regarding my belief, too many people would lash as it's to do with God, most people hate God or even the mention.
But please don't live in fear.

While I am sure it will not happen, because the Mayas never predicted the end of he world, just completed a calendar, I am also in a way a bit fatalistic. If the world ends, there is nothing I can do, so why waste my time with worries if I have no control over the events.
I do plan to have a nice meal, a bottle of wine, and sit on my balcony to wait for 12-22-2012 in the arms of my girlfriend. 
Its all just bogus, the end of the world has been predicted so many times. The only reason you know about this time is because a poorly written John Cusack movie.
So grab a cold one and enjoy friday with the rest of us

I agree that the world wont end tomorrow, but, since everyone has been predicting the end of the world since time immemorial, well, one of these days someone is bound to guess right....
Just drink as much beer as you can until the 22nd. The Mayans didn't even see their own ending coming, they just got tired of carving stone calendars. Who can blame them.
Is the world going to end on China time or North American time?
I need to plan ahead.

Yeah. Open a book. 2012 doomsday was made up by a crappy movie and all the stupid people in the world bought into it. The Mayans never believed it would be the end of the world. it's simply the end of a cycle which they've recorded happening several times before. Go see the living Mayans in Mexico today and they're hanging out like nothing unusual is going to happen.

There are Mayans, hundreds of thousands of them, they are one of the largest ethnic minorities in Mexico.

The end of the current Mayan Calender is at 10:11pm Shanghai time today. So just under 7 hours time now.
Well here we are, the day after we were told it was all coming to an end. I don't know about you but for me everything seemed extremely normal. I hope you feel better now that you realise it was all hype. The Mayan calendar never foretold the end of the world it simply foretold the end of an era. Have a happy 2013.
Well here we are,,,,,,,,, the new age........ all corruption and domination and threats of impending doom have past, and we can all now live peacefully and comfortably in our own little worlds of tranquility, serenity and comfort............. isn't this a great feeling of accomplishment for all mankind.......... even better than that one guy stepping on the Moon.

What? All that for nothing. I guess the fact that the Mayan calendar happened to end on December 21, 2012 actually had no significance with respect to the end of the world.
Maybe they concluded that they had time to continue the calendar later and left for the pub.
