Q: Is it historically accurate that the early rulers of 'China' were homosexual / pedophilic ?
I will bring my inquiry to a relevant point depending on whether or not anyone cares to discuss the issue.
Much like the early rulers of all civilisations, then.
In Athenian Greece it was normal for men from the upper classes to have wives, and pursue young boys as lovers.
I feel like I should make it clear here that I am LGBT rights advocate. I happen to be Hetero, but I am also a Right to Decide for Oneself proponent (duh, if all parties participate in free-will).

Umm... I think pretty much all ancient civilizations did this...
Christianity and other religions came and obviously denounced it (which it should be). And the reason why I say it SHOULD BE DENOUNCED is because children are simply too young to understand what is happening to them and too easily manipulated.
So can't really point any fingers there. 
I'm not looking to point fingers, I was just curious about the lingering influence on Chinese culture. I will point out a few things I wish someone would help me to understand.

Historically people used to marry when puberty set in. People also used to worship the sun. People have changed, but still not enough.
Of course not, everyone knows that 100% of the pedophiles are white. When a 50 years old Chinese man has sex with a 16 years old Chinese girl it's true love <3 When a 50 years old White man has sex with a 16 years old Chinese girl he is a pedo who must die!

My next step will be to ask if others think that the constant staring may be an indication of latent homosexuality. I think most people who have read a bit of the history of China would agree it was a fairly widespread practice, at least up until the mid 20th century.
