Q: Is it normal to wear socks with sandles?
Having a discussion with a mate about getting old and they recon its ok .
So could you good people and other give your opinion?

Of course it isn't. You want your feet to get fresh air, you wear sandals, you want your feet to be warm and comfy, you wear socks
I don't have sandals, butT...I use flip-flops as slippers in my house, sometimes with socks on.
It is in the UK....with a hankie on your head to stop it burning!!
It's okay but you need to make sure your walk shorts are hiked up to your nipples to complete the ensemble.
as long as the sandles don't separate your toes. then you can't put it on properly. it damages your sock and tends to fall off

You can see aged Italians today with sandals&socks.
History and older people have problems with blood circulation so body's extremities (hands and feet) are cold.

2000 years ago, that's kinda where China is in terms of fashion today.
Oh and you get the migrant youth who are stuck in the tight t-shirts slim jeans and emo hair style of the 2000s, Tokyo Hotel and such.
Don't get me started on the rich kids who curl their hair on top while shaving it on the side in a faux European bourgeois style, they look like lapdogs.

it is silly to wear socks and sandals
wife told me so the first time I was here
and I really had to explain the suspenders to ....... fashion statement, not really to keep my pants up
