Q: is it really that hard for a Chinese person to get a visitor visa to Canada ??
I read that it is almost impossible for a Chinese citizen to get a visitor visa to Canada and even harder if that person has any ties to a Canadian. Any experience ? I think for a Chinese to go to the USA , they do not even need a visa.

Hey man, not hard at all. I just went there with my Fiancee. Easy as pie. Just do everything required and THEN some. Do you know anyone there with a respectable job that could write an invite letter? If not that's okay.
You also should write your entire travel plan down, what you will see, what days, etc.
ALso, the USA is much harder because you actually need an interview.
If they have a house here, a job, and money in the bank to prove they're going to come back, it's no problem... Start taking any of those things away, then it gets harder... Where in China is your lady friend coming from?

Well I've been handing you out thumbs ups as often as possible so should help offset the point commies that are hard at work... If you act as her guarantor and she can get a letter from work saying she's got a permanent full time job and she's got to go back, shouldn't be a problem...

After that last post, I don't even know what this guy is talking about. He doesn't even say it's for a girl though either.
Origionally he didn't, he seemed to do so after I mentioned it. Just thought he may be wasting our time. Having gone through the process I have no problem helping the guy, but don't wanna waste my time.
