have you noticed that "chicken" drum sticks in China are smaller than the ones in your country?
what i also found disturbing is they come in packs of 4 .
If there was more than 4 pieces then you could re-articulate it and discover which species it really is. No one needs that horror.

That's husky ....meiyou wolf.
It's identical pic of a dog I knew in Fuk., Xinjiang. The same!

He was a happy guy we had for dinner last night. Tasted like chicken
Pack of 4 is necessary, because machine for making a styrofoam plates and cups comes from the West, so Chinese can either pack smaller chicken parts (more than 4) or 4 pieces of regular size chicklet.
If you look at Supermarket's butchery dept. all loose chicken parts are huge. I never buy it, because that thing must be chewy, unless you cook it for '77' hours.
I also saw black duck in my Super. It doesn't look, duck is colored or marinated in dark sauce.
It must be duck breed from Africa ....
You don't want to know about Chinese formal shoes shoelaces ......

-It tastes like chicken.
-What's the problem with that?
-It's macaroni and cheese.
Chinese chicken bodies are different!!!!
Unfortunately, not really...
Back home I noticed how the drumsticks were getting smaller and smaller over time. Red Rooster looked like they were using quail rather than chicken!!
Fortunately, there was a halal butcher near my place (for a few years) and they had 1kg Chicken Maryland!!! Awesome!!!!
Ps, I had roast chicken last night, bought from the local veggie place - you know the one, they leave the pork out on the counter all day... but the chicken is in the freezer. Tasted pretty good (the chicken, not the rotten pork). I can't say that the Maryland was much smaller than I'm used to back home, but the leg part was shorter than back home - which didn't seem to affect the amount of meat on it (naturally, when you think about it! That meat is just muscle to move the leg around... the length of the leg won't seriously affect the thickness of the muscle/meat).
Chicken wings are a bit smaller here.
Roaches taste like chicken and they are very crispy. Yum.
