Q: I've heard a rumor that Metallica are coming to Shanghai. Anyone heard this?
In August apparently.

It's just rumors as they are playing some of the neighboring countries.
(how odd it would be to see one of the bands who have been most outspoken against piracy, play to an audience where zero people have ever paid for their music)
That would be fun. Although I can't say I've listened to them since I was like 15. Still, Slash came to Shanghai in May so the rumours could be true.
Does this mean that they are no longer relevant? I can't remember the last time I heard of a still popular band playing in China.

It's true.They will perform on August 13th at Mercedes-Benz Arena.

I would love to see them live. Only if they didnt play anything from after the Black album.
Nothing confirmed yet. No way to buy tickets yet. A Chinese ticket web site already started to put tickets online, but suddenly removed it again.
It seems famous band. I dont know this band. Is it old? I just backstreet boys will play in this May. I can see the ad in the bid screen though my window.
