Q: Kids , China and the things they say

My Kids are getting older and more opinionated 10 and 8.
We come back to China a month a year for family.
This year in particular the boy (10years old ) has developed his personality (little smart arse)
They both have asked me why that when they ask a question ..the answer is always "because this is China " ?
The boy started spitting his reasoning is that he is Chinese.
Once at school a teacher told him to go back to the white line. ..his response was "but im Asian. ..I should go to the Asian line. " his teacher is still laughing about that.
They both have been sending video reports back to their respective classes in Australia via the teachers wechat. Some of their observations are entertaining. My Babies are growing up.
How are your Kids developing?

Looking forward to my wee one coming home from school with her young pioneer sash.

But that wont be till next year. If at all.

She is developing well. I think the mixture of a tiger mom and a drinker daddy will produce an interesting result.

Her mum wants her to conform, I challange her to think.

She is in last year of Government kindergarten and she has to look after some of the younger kids. She is in a good place.

I take her to the local urban villages to play, her mum takes her to the posh places downtown. I think she has good mixture.

It does exist.
