Tried this before, they just looked at me and said sorry we don't know.

I was guessing Gov. could help with Primary schools listing! I posted before somebody from the area come along. 'Up' for your useful advice.
I hope you don't expect international standards if you are not willing to pay for one of the rare worth that name international schools in China.

There is no good education in your area. Whatever is offered is not worth your money. They're all fake, for mianzi and money. Institutions in China don't care about educational development, because independent thought is believed to be dangerous to the country. You might as well send your child to a military-style government school. All of China's teaching expectations are based on government-approved military-style trainings. Save up your money so your child has a shot at a foreign education in the future. If the Chinese education system has not turned them into cheaters who rely on classmates and parents' bribes to pass exams, they might stand a chance.
If you want a more reliable investment in your family's future, just give up on useless Chinese education. Build up a company for your child to inherit, and hope for the best. It's widely known that most Chinese millionaires didn't waste their time with the education system.

Man you need to shut the F up. There isn't a lot of choice for some folks, they do the best they can with what they've got. God where do people like this come from? Why are they even here or on this site.
coineineagh:
I simply tell the parents what they need to know. Are you saying I shouldn't burst their bubble? China is delusional enough as it is, without FTs playing the wumao as well. Why on Earth should I shut up? I'm a teacher in China myself - I see the farce every day. I'm trying to stop these people from wasting their money on useless education. God where do people like *this* come from? Fkn feelgood apologist.
ironman510:
Your idea about Chinese Gov school and any other is totally off, maybe you saw a bad school before. You have no right to judge every changing school and teacher in China or anywhere else in this world for that matter, things do improve over time you know. It's people like you I try to avoid making friends with in China because all guys like you only want to complain about the life you see and have here. Do you know how tired I am of meeting jerks like yourself? It makes me ask: Why come all the way to Asia if you only came here to complain about it? So take my advice, when a parent is asking a sensitive question for help about school or anything regarding their children stop and think how can I help these guys get settled with the best option? And not give them the worst answer... I really hope you are not a father, if not than don't become one.
coineineagh:
Insulting moron: Dragging family into it as well. I'm a father of two, and it's for their sake, for their EDUCATION, that I'll be moving to Germany in a few months. You are free to let your kids enjoy the fruits of Chinese military school drilling, and see how your kids become bleak, unmotivated, unimaginative, simpleminded, delusional Red Guard yes-men. You can even claim it makes you a great father, and nobody will ever contradict you. I wanted to get out as soon as I experienced China, and I take no pleasure in complaining about the culture I'm forced to live in. I tried constructive criticism until my brain bled, but it's just not in the dictionary here. 3 years in this non-culture can create very cynical views, but what's even worse (and more offensive to guys like you), is that I can support my views with valid observations. Every statement I make comes with an implied accountability guarantee. So if you can prove me wrong, I will acknowledge it. But your vague notions of "things are changing and you have no right to judge" are feel-ggod platitudes that make these folk rest on their imaginary laurels. If you TRULY cared, like I do, you'd be fierce and vocal, to wake the people up. I understand that you're defensive because you care about happiness, safety and stability, but that makes you a good MOTHER, not a good father. It's our responsibility to care about skills, morality and fairness.
