New regulations bring new loop holes. What sort of loop holes do you expect with these new foreign worker laws?We all know that is not going away anytime soon.

The new loophole will be - give more money to the guys in the PSB...
Who needs a 'loophole' in a law, when no-one is enforcing laws anyway?

To add to that - it'll be the usual hiring of foreign students. You'll probably start seeing more Chinese language courses start up, with foreign students, who then work at the English training centre 'part-time'.
My guess some that feel they need to stay so badly will burn their passports and just hide and pay the fine to leave after they reach their goals. Ive met many that do this.

hey ironman510 if I sent you my CV posted it to you would you take a look at it,I will send you copies of everything related to my teaching.just to give you an idea of where Im coming from
I am sure the people who own the private training schools have already figured out a way to maintain their profits.
ironman510:
Actually, I'm starting to see a trend where 70% of private training centers are starting to give up the so called "white face English" dream, mean that they are turning to new types of training centers like robotics, lego and more and I have seen lots of training centers use Chinese teachers for teaching English now.
It's almost time for us to be replaced, not yet, but you can't say you haven't seen a trend. We are less needed.

I also notice more and more online teaching...or at least posting for the jobs.
RandomGuy:
You must be kidding, I have never got so many offers on my hands than these days. A lot more subjects teaching too, physics, geography, history, math, PE, etc....
New regulations bring new loop holes.
That's exactly my life motto.
What's the point of knowing all the rules if you are never gonna break them?
Now, what are the new regulations? Do you have a link for them so that together we can brainstorm some ways to go around them and the next thing we know, we are sitting in an office offering unqualified teachers jobs and collecting money till our hands sour.
Who's in?

I've seen "1-1.5 year business visa" ads floating around a lot lately.
ironman510:
And did you know if you have an expired biz visa in your passport book than you can't get another without proof of company funds and an invite?
Zethe:
I wouldn't really have first hand knowledge about these business visas.
I'm just saying I've seen ads :)
