Q: NEW WORKING VISA
I have a 12 Month Working Visa and the Aileen Permit which I had been using now for many years. I have just completed my contract and is looking for a new job. My visa ends soon. My questions are, 1). Until i start a new job can a visa company help me with a visa if I did not find a new job in time. 2). If I was to get say a F Visa as this is what some are telling me, once I start a new job can they arrange while i am in China or did I have to return to my home country. Can you advise me some visa companies which can help me with the above. Please note I have been in China over 10 years (Working). Many thanks.

if you can find a new job before your current working visa expire, then will be easy to get a new working visa. (just need to Change your employment permit company name and apply for a new residence permit in PSB office);
if you can not find a new job in time, you have to holding a temporary visa when you hunting job here, after you get new job. the company need to apply for your working visa step by step again at then (like you make working visa in the first time).
A potential option would be to sign a new 12 month contract with your current employer, and spend the first month or two of that period finding a new job. Once you find that new job, hand in your notice to your current employer, work the notice period and then leave.
There will be no need for you to hurry or feel undue pressure to find a new job.

yes, this is the best way in my opinion. This is a good reason why you should try to keep a good relationship with your employer. It's really at their discretion as to whether they let you finish your contract early or not. Most private schools won't have a problem letting you go early if you are pleasant and give them a good reason. Universities and public schools might not be so accommodating because they do not usually have a pool of other laowais to cover, and you might have to see the semester out. If you want to break your contract, you can help yourself by finding a good replacement teacher for the school.
If you finish your contract but don't have another job, you need to find another sponsor within about 30 days. Otherwise, you will need to go onto a temporary visa. When you do eventually find another job, you will need to do a visa run to Hong Kong to get a new Z visa.
I think the best strategy is to start hunting around for other jobs in the months BEFORE you current contract expires. That allows a seamless changeover of employers and visas.
