Iron12:
Its a real joke mate, do some research on that date: October 20, 2015
expatlife26:
All I see on that date is a bunch of nonsense about the new world dollar from a bunch of unsourced, disreputable outlets.
What i'm asking is are YOU a real person who thinks this or are you posting this as a gag.
Tell you what, if there's a new currency released on that date which replaces the dollar send me your address and i'll EMS you a new small appliance of your choice. So like a microwave, rice cooker, blender type of thing. Seriously.
Unless of course my money is no good by that point.

What's so ridiculous about that kind of fear mongering...is what would a "new world dollar" even be?
Like a Euro-style currency union?
Lets say for the sake of argument that happens...all of a sudden the all-powerful IMF says "Surprise Assholes! Here's your new money. Deal with it."
Clearly we'd have a grace period to exchange our existing currency because it is certainly not in the interests of FUCKING BANKS WHO LOAN MONEY for everyone in the world to suddenly have no means of servicing their debt.
So we exchange our money for Official NW Dollars. Then what?
We're all like europe under the euro? Would that really change our lives that much?
I think the euro has been a marginal/mixed success. Hasn't done tons of good, but done some good, and of course has some downsides eliminating monetary policy options.
But it's not some apocalyptic scenario. Moderately good in some ways moderately bad in others.
So why the secrecy? Why not force it on us gradually over time like they did with the Euro? All it would do is panic everyone to have a suprise announcement like. To what benefit is that?
The one thing you can count on banks/financial institutions to do is act in their best interests. This is not in their best interests.
Why would the US agree to loose dollar's dominance in the world market?
there is no significant requirement of new currency, unless we want every country to come under same economic regime... the dollar has a priority and it helps the country economically. If suppose a world currency is developed, It would effect the race of development --- economic evolution.
This comment was from general understanding, I am not an expert in economy neither did any research. I baidued the date but... nothing important!
Anything written on the internet instantly becomes true. There, I just wrote that - it's true.
The faster the stock market falls the greater the number of trolls under the bridge.
I am NOT trolling, why do you ignore my question: What is the significance of this date: October 20, 2015?? is this date somehow connected to the stock crash? thats all im asking now im being pelted with stones and rotten eggs, being called names...speaking of which whoever calls me "fake" can Pisss Offf..go to hell I see more ridiculous posts here on ECC, if my post does not appeal to you walk on by... Punch that date in any search machine you will get some results I DID NOT publish those results
Any crack pot can post stuff on the internet. Take yourself for example. I'm at least a little surprised that you can manage to use a computer at all. You are a living example of how people can overcome huge disabilities to attain their goals - even if their goals are misguided and meaningless. the results for the search that you suggested come up with absolute rubbish. Tin foil hat conspiracy nonsense - which seems to be a theme of late (no offence icnif!)
You are either a troll or someone who is incredibly gullible and possibly mentally retarded. I hope for your sake that you are a troll.

I'm not offended, but which 'tin one' are you considering here?
'China can sink $US' is exactly what is happening at the moment. Not that I didn't read about that option in economy researches before. Today's links:

'buy PM bullion' is still on. That's the only way, one wouldn't feel recent devaluation or looming recession/deflation. However, I'm rooting for Gold to get into US$1070-1050/oz range, where I'm buyer again.
Iron12:
I think you dropped this.
