Hi

Where are you from? Some other members can tell you better if they are from your country.

For Americans, go to your university get a certified copy of your degree, take it to the state department and get it notarized. Last but not least take it to the nearest China Embassy and ask them to Authenticate it and wait a few days and you'll be all set. IF you have a TEFL or better than its best to get those and your FBI record or non criminal record check Authenticated too.

So if you tell others where you are from that would help speed things along for yourself.

Sorry for the question.  I understand now that if you have reference letter with stamp stating 2 years experience then you don't need to notarize/authenticate teaching license.

Not true, it really depends on where, and where you're from which you omitted

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change student visa to labourer one is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
