Q: One-on-One Mandarin Classes in Wuhan?

I have googled this to no avail, or the sources I found were demanding rediculous prices (30k+ for 12 weeks).

Does anyone know of a decent Mandarin school or training center in Wuhan?

do you want to go to a private school or join a language college in a university? you cannot use google to find these stuffs, you can search for private tutors once you are in wuhan! or you can apply to colleges in wuhan using cucas.edu.cn... frankly speaking, its best to learn chinese in small goup of 10-15 students with a very good professor training you for the HSK... semester/yearly fees for language training is kind of cheap.. its about 15k rmb a year....

First of all,  I think you should find a local friend in Wuhan. You will get more accurate and useful information. Then it's up to your goal. What kind of madarin  level are you in want of? I recommend you  find the appropriate one ,not a decent one.

I think u should know why u need to attend mandarin class. Is it for ur HSK test or just to improve ur Chinese so as to be more convenient in China? If u wanna pass some standard test, then going to mandarin class is good. Otherwise, U just need to find a tutor for urself.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
