Q: Online Dating...?
Have you done this before? Since there are no foreign guys where I live that date anyone other than 19 year old Chinese girls, and the Chinese guys are scared of dating "tall western lady" I thought about resorting to finding a man online. How pathetic is this on a scale of 1-10? 1 being "Eh not a bad idea" and 10 being "You are pathetic."

i have done it many times. the majority times its a bad experience i was pretty crazy at that time but thank God the sense came very soon by having 2 three bumps on the road of online dating. later i played sensible not like an idoit prink. its the lovely part time job of everyone single person in china from age 15 to 60 i guess........
online dating and blind dating is somewhat crazy thing but any one people do it . china have the most numbered online dating people and many have married with the online made boyfriends........
better to avoid but chances are fair enough to find or have prince and princess of your life

Not pathetic at all except the part about Westerners dating Chinese 19 and below. That is pure assumption, I like mine at least 20 LOL. No, you can find people with the same interest on this web site, you can also check out depending on what city you're in expats.com, like I live in Tianjin so I type in tianjinexpats.com, this is a pretty good way to avoid the dating specific web sites. echinacities has their own personals, check it out

For the record.. it's not Martin that I've met on an American dating site.. it's a guy who lives in the United States.. Yet one more reason for me to leave China.. 7 years has had it's toll!
