Q: The PayPal transfer method?

Hi guys

Does anyone the method of using PayPal linked with your UnionPay debit card to send money to your PayPal American bank account?

Two ways that I haven't tried yet.

A. Add UnionPay debit card and U.S bank together on the same account and transfer money from my UnionPay card to PayPal balance than transfer it to my American bank account within the same PayPal account.

Or

B. Make two PayPal accounts and send money from UnionPay debit card PayPal account to the other separate PayPal account that would have my American bank account.

Can you share your method?
Really don't wanna go through the hassle of walking into a bank here.

Option B used to work for me, but I haven't tried it in a year or so.

Option C - ask a Chinese person to do an International Transfer direct to bank account from Alipay.

I feel you're correct, but I'll try it for fun and let you know.

Thanks friend! The banks are a total nightmare and the only way to get to Western Union, which charges another fee...

I read this the other day that CLAIMS we can use Alipay to transfer money home. I seriously doubt it will work. Tempted to give it a try though.

It works (-ed) Hots.

I had a few K sent back home about 2 months ago. Very simple, and in the account within a couple of days. Not too expensive either.

And, yes, needs Chinese ID card.

My wife sent funds to my Canadian bank account using her Union Pay before with no problem. Also, I would withdrawl funds from my Chinese bank account from an ATM in Canada that had a Union Pay function.

The exchange rate wasn't that bad either.

ironman510:

Im trying to do it myself. My wife doesnt like me to send money home hahaha

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
