Q: Romantic place in Hangzhou...

So, me and ´my boyfriend decided to go to Hangzhou, it seems like a beautiful place and I bet we will find many things to see while we are there.

But I would like to do something special for him, he is not really into things that cost to much money and I know he would be impressed by things I have done myself.

So I have borrowed a kitchen right now, where I will make some snacks and drinks. But I need a place, it is hard to find a place that is private and it needs to be private because of our sexuality. I want him to be able to relax.

So is there a place where I can spread out a blanket, a few pillows, light some candles and give him some snacks and then just lie down and watch the stars together?

I dont know if they still do this, but when i went to Hangzhou a few years ago, some liked to find a nice spot near the West lake and do precisely that.

I think, though i do not remember clearly, but there is an island in the West lake that is considered extremely romantic.

Word of caution: Many parts of China are not as open as in the west regarding Same Sex Couples.

Good luck!

Is it possible that someone has some connections down there? I have some connections myself but the perfect place for this to happen would be a private rooftop overlooking the west lake...

so anyone, please!?

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
