1. Find new School, which can extend your Residence permit.

2. Ask your present employer: 'Can you tell me please, where is SAFEA in the city?'

SAFEA is Gov. organization, which is issuing Foreign Expert Certificates to FT with Z visa/ Residence permit, and your employer knows them well. They act as 'semi-police' in China for foreigners. Other name for SAFEA is Foreign Expert Bureau.

Your employer is not too fond to deal with SAFEA, so I would expect either School will pay your late wages ASAP, or they will fire you. I am not sure what happened at SAFEA, if School has valid complaints about your work and performance.

3. 'Late salary' is Contract violation, and you can quit your present School, and keep your RP. 'Edit': SAFEA will also help you retrieve your unpaid wages.

If you don't have proper visa (Z), which get converted to RP, SAFEA won't get involved. You are working illegally, and you cannot expect Gov.'s help.

I agree with the above. If you are legal - get proper help. If you are illegal, just cut your losses and find somewhere else.

A:It's up to the employer if they want to hire you that's fine most cities today require you to take a health check every year when renewing the working visa if you pass the health check and you get your visa renewed each year I know teachers that are in their 70s and they're still doing great -- ironman510
