Q: santorum all over my naked legs. When will China no longer have water mines in streets?

pving streets and side walks have been around ever since out lord and saviour jesus christ came down from on high and said  "i aint walkin in the goddamn mud! i'm jesus for christs sake!". when the hell will china catch up???

for those of you who are fortunate not to have experienced this. a water mine (patented , trademarked , and copy righted) is when water washes away the sand that the geniuses here in china use as foundation for their brick sidewalks or streets. and the water mixed with dirt , feces, and stale urine (this is china) replaces the foundation. so when you have carefully avoided the puddles, short idiots with umbrellas, weird looking  filth  and you step safely on a brick and boom! the filthy santurum  mixture splashes all the way up your naked leg (you're wearing shorts)

3 pucking times in 2 days somebody has got to die!!!

Maybe you should pay a little more attention to where you're stepping.

Am I reading this right or are some posters trying to justify the frequent cesspools that are stepped into by unsuspecting passersby? I don't understand the justification at all. How could that be acceptable for anyone?

WhiteBear:

So what? Should I talk about shit and garbage on side-streets of... let say... NY?

When I stepped on shit, or on the garbage there I didn't blame NY officials, Americans generally etc... but just take care not to do this again.

Martian is lucky to not have experienced this. The pavement, make of bricks, looks solid and may even be dry. Problem is, that when you step on it, the water beneath the bricks just shoots  up like a stinking geyser, soaking you, your pants and whosoever is near you.

The way I avoid this now is NOT stepping on brick patches of sidewalk, which often necessitates walking on the street.

Lucky for me, Beijing is mostly dry and arid, so this is very rare here, but in guilin, it was a nearly daily occurrence.

Brilliant civil engineers the Chinese are not.  There is no solution unless you risk walking in the street or buy a personal hovercraft.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
