Q: Shanghai parents suing their kids and lowering their credit score
Apparently there is a new law in Shanghai where if you don't visit your parents, they can sue you. It's basically ensuring the kids take care of their parents, so the government doesn't have to.
Social Security with Chinese characteristics.
If the PRC is going to be so paternalistic, would it count if Shanghai children just visited a government office?

I saw this too. I mean parents are dumping their entire savings into their kids' education and also usually a house when they get married.

If the parents are expecting the children to care for them the I word use the word investing instead of dumping.
