Q: Shanghai school compulsory IQ testing PARENT in kid's admission. Want to give the test a try?

Both kid and parent must take admission test in this brandname (apparently, look at the queue) Shanghai school. One Ph.D in Finance mom who flunked her test posted the questions in this article, on Mother's Day. She said in some cases, the kid passed the test, it was the parent who flunked his/her part, resulting in the kid's rejection. The parents felt so guilty. One guy said, 'I should not have chidren, what if one day at school other kids laugh at mine, your father is a moron, what face does he have?'

She titled her article 'I have a Ph.D in Finance and I flunked. If your IQ doesn't make the grade you should not be a mom'. WTF is wrong with china? Well, let's talk about that after you try out the test yourself, 8 standard, 'simple' fill in the blank questions.

Does this make china a formidable enemy in the future? What would you say if they offer you a teaching position there? lol

roflmao ,,,,,,,  I flunked the hell out of it!  Because I didn't even try after I looked at it a second.  Those things are not a friggin' test of anything except if you happen to match with some random choice put forth by some nutter who thought he was brilliant because he says this is what diagram should come next.  It's like some guy on LSD came up with this!

If you want to test someone pick a topic,,,,  General Knowledge, Human Anatomy, PADI Dive-master course, Financial Accounting, etc... and ask a series of real questions that have real answers and grade accordingly.  Not any of this hocus-pocus mumbo jumbo. devil

That test was assembled, i.e. 'copy&paste', by some manager at the mentioned School. TIC!

Scientific IQ tests are freely available over the Internet, but above test is only part out of the standard (western) IQ test.

That part of the IQ test is called 'Spatial-Visual IQ test' and it's part of every standardized IQ test.

This isn't fair at all... and I speak because this is EASY for me.

Why? This test is simply pattern recognition or visual mathematics. I am a UI/UX designer so I deal with this stuff daily. However, someone that deals daily in areas like law, finance, literature or medicine may STILL do horribly in a test like this and run circles around me when it comes to accounting, chemistry etc.

Feel bad for the parents that failed because the test is highly bias to ONE aspect of IQ testing.

they give a logical thinking test to chinese

GG WP!

someone with a phd should have an easy time matching the patterns since they are part of mathematics.
But yeah thats what you get a phd with an IQ of 20, thats china for you.

For others it is surely not very fair to give them a partial IQ test out of an area where they certainly have a weakness

A:  It depends on which part of the lake region you want to visit. Most start from NanChang, the shortest distance to the lake is about 30km  and 186km to the government run wetland park, marked by the hut shape symbol on the upper right corner of the map below

October is too early to see the migratory Siberian cranes. November onwards is better, their number peaking in between December and January. The dry season lasts from Sept to April.

Here are some photos taken by a retired local during his self-drive tour of Poyang Lake, dating Oct. 17, 2016.
