Q: Is the site not working at night for you guys?
nothing of much interest is being posted and so the traffic is falling away .
people were board and came here now they are board and are looking elsewhere.
there are only about 10 to 20 people who post now .the visitors use the search function for their answer and go on their way .

"night" would depend on which part of the world you're posting from.
And yes, from midnight (China time) it goes down. I've noticed a few times when in the middle of a post it won't go through cos it's ticked over.
Noticed a couple of times. Exactly at midnight it stops (to let Cinderella escape ?)

I get it at midnight. On the dot. I am sure it is a "drunk" block. Sometimes it lasts for 5 min, sometimes a few hours. But always at midnight on the dot.

You're probably right Wolf... after all, why actually follow the rules and abide by the T&C, when you can just "get some balls" and put up with it... I'm sure that's exactly what this forum wants to see - petty, banal, insulting brawls going on...
You and Phil obviously think that harrassment and abuse are ok (cos, you know, it's the internet). As has been said before - if you like that sort of a forum, go there. ECC (and the VAST majority of other forums) don't allow it.
Phil has been warned (publicly even!!! Given most users are given a private warning, I'd say that he's really broken that straw)... but still didn't relent. If he's been banned, he got what he deserved. I'm actually shocked he wasn't banned months ago...
I'd also suggest that if the usermods were around (or at least, grumpy was more on the ball) a few months back when Cub made his appearance, YOU would have been banned (and I would have been warned...).
I'm sure you'll find this difficult to comprehend (he writes, hypocritically), but being insulting and abusive is NOT necessary! And, if that's the best you've got, it's not saying too much about you...
It's the 21st century. "It's my right to be offensive, abusive and insulting as much as I want, and you have to put up with it" is no longer the accepted way of doing things. Especially when it's the ONLY thing someone writes!
