Q: So... what should Santa bring you?

What are you asking Santa for this year?

Santa doesn't visit me in China so I have to buy my own presents. What a jerk!

I will probably be buying myself a new computer as the dust from China is slowly destroying my motherboard. I don't think I can get a good one locally as the computer shops around here aren't too high end.

So what's on your Christmas list this year? Do you normally shop locally or buy stuff for Christmas online?

I applied for an English teaching job at the private School in Austria few weeks ago, and then I look at the School's web link (last week).

School accepted my filled lengthy (25 Qs) questionnaire, and set an appointment for the telephone interview.

If I would look at the School's web link first, I would never apply for the teaching job as 'not qualified as Non-native'.

I guess, Santa is next  in line.

What I really wish for is for the present madness to stop. I just want to eat some birds and pigs, roll over and then let that be xmas, then wake back up, munch down lots of cookies etc, repeat for days.....

A Porsche Panamera or 991. Not sure. Either will do as long as it's not white. White cars are always dirty. Can't keep them clean.

A hot rod desk top with a huge hard drive for two or three OSs.

Another bike or motorcycle or two or three.

Tools, more tools. You can never have enough tools.

My wife thinks I'm a tool.  Or rather, that I dress like a tool.  So last night she went out to buy me some clothes for Xmas.  Came home with a couple of pairs of trousers and a shirt.

After cajoling me into trying them on she went out again to have the trousers altered.

Very cold here, and going out takes quite some effort.  She's so lovely.

Anyhow, I told her I don't want or expect any Xmas presents so let's consider the clothes to be very early birthday presents.

So, for Xmas...nothing.

But....just maybe.....like the last couple of years....my daughters back in Aust will send me a lucky box.......Hehehehehehe.......

A new life in a different country, but I'll probably need to make that happen myself.

OK Santa, I'll settle for enough beer to keep me numb for a few weeks.

A D-visa so I don't have to renew my work permit/resident permit every year!

As I don't believe in Santa I also know this won't happen!

Increase in prices of Iron ores and rare earths asap. Increase in price of crude oils in the second quarter. Decrease in plane fares in the 1st Q of the year.

Santa came early for me. Got an imported Audi. Sold the Focus for a decent price and used the money for 19" wheels and a system. Im good throughout the holidays. Christmas will be about my wife. Its her turn.

why import? Its not like you can drive fast here anyways with all the morons. Doesnt it cost shit loads of money to import it? Actually I also wanna buy an A3 in march guess around 230000 RMB

mike695ca:

@dom,  No i didnt import it. Most car companies make the larger selling items here domestically  ( Like the A4L  or A6L)  and then the smaller sellers are imported by Audi China   ( Audi  A5  ect).

The A3 sedan has two models available in China   the 35TSFI   is made here  and its a 1.4L Turbo.    Mine is the larger engine and it is imported.   About 300K
