Q: Student looking for job..

I'm a senior in high school, and I need a job. I have a friend who tutors English on the weekends, and she makes a good amount from it. I don't have a teaching certificate obviously, and I have no teaching experience (except for tutoring English in my school to the middle schoolers)..

So I'm not looking for a full time job or like a really high paying job, I just want something to keep me busy on the weekends, and a way to earn some personal cash.

advertise in your local area.

ask your friend if she knows of any students she can not manage to tutor herself.

Don't confine yourself to tutoring english as there might be other part -time opportunities for you to make money

If you are an English native speaker, no matter your nationality and color:

Our company provides part time job vacancies for transcription project.

The purpose of the project is to improve the voice recognition system of Xbox gaming console and windows phone. To improve the software, you will be listening to actual raw data and transcribing what you hear into text.

you will be given tasks that include 200 lines of text and audio. The text may not always match the audio you hear. Your task will be to make corrections wherever necessary so that the audio matches the text. You will also add tags to indicate the presence of certain sounds.

if interested, contact me.

Oh, I looked into that offer before. It's really tedious work for little profit. But I guess if you're REALLY strapped for cash...

Why do I think the poster is Sophia trying to promote her/his services. I am willing to bet he (Sophia) is a man.
