Q: Sudden hair loss in China?

This is starting to freak me out a little, but I've noticed these past few weeks I've been losing a lot of hair. Not like I'm bald now or anything, but passing the brush every morning there's a lot more that comes off than usual. I haven't really changed my diet (though it's true I eat very little meat), and I've been using Chinese shampoos.

Anyone experienced this before?

I don't know about the shampoo, but it could be due to stress.

I've read that if you are under a lot of stress for a period of time, then a few weeks later you'll notice yourself losing more hair than normal, and on a few occasions I've notice myself losing more hair than normal and realized that, yes, I have been under pressure for the last month.

Drink more beer. I have no medical studies to back that up but my hair's the same as when I arrived - and I've been a while.

my japanese ex gf experience that, and was scary cause she starts to have some white holes on her head, so we went to a chinese doc. (TCM) and she suggest her to use ginger, raw ginger on her head, rubbing it on those holes...
