Q: Syrian chemical 'attack'

Firstly, apologies to those of you not even remotely interested in politics - especially Middle East politics.

Secondly, for those of you who think the whole Syria issue should just end in a quick nuking so the rest of us can stop worrying about their refugees, you're not going to like this post.

I have just one simple question...

From what i've been reading on the web at the various news agencies, an attack happened "in the early hours of Tuesday morning;, which was apparently done by Russian and Syrian jets.

"Witnesses" report seeing the bombs being dropped, and then "yellow and blue" chemicals/gas.

Of course, the MSM (main-stream media) has instantly pointed the finger at Assad, and the Russians - condemning both for such a war crime.

My question is - if "early hours" means something like 1-3am (the usual meaning for that expression of 'early hours' - how the hell can anyone see either bombs being dropped, or even the colour of a gas... in the frikken dark???

Also, how many are normally awake to see such a thing? And, if you're actually awake, and can see the colours, what are the realistic chances of actually surviving to tell about it?

The Russians say that their attack hit a rebel-held chemical manufacturing plant. Obviously, those who want Assad out say that's "implausible".

I also note that Assad was instantly blamed for the attack - even before an investigation was done... ie, before teh facts were actually known (or even questioned, apparently!)

Now, I'm not saying that Assad's regime was - categorically - not involved. I'm just asking questions that I would think any sane, and intelligent  person would ask before assuming blame.

We've already seen 'False Flag' events with the use of chemical weapons in Syria, with a supposed Assad Regime chemical strike being 'proven' to not be possibly done by them (ie, the attack was made to look like Syrian government forces, but clearly wasn't). So, I suggest it's possible this is another..

Icnif - have at it! Tongue

Expat - you're talking about terrorists and the 'why'... if this is yet another false flag, then what should the locals do about it to stop them, knowing that they have zero influence on the media, and the lies (and murders) still continue just to make people rich?

It's a bit strange for the gas to be from to escape from a plant that was bombed...purely because the resuting fire burns of the gas.
Unless you are privileged to what is fact there is no way a meir mortal can determine what has happened.
In this instance both parties have been known to be loose with the truth in the past

My fav. news portal (and commentators) wrote about 'no factual evidence' who did it/who's fault is. I read it quickly during the lunch today and I'll go through again ....

As I understand, Chlorine was stored in bombed facility .... How could you blame bombers as media reports, IS use civilians and housing facilities on the ground as shield and other bad things, they do to the residents of the city, they took over.

Today's war tech can detect plane high in the air and everything it's doing .... even using a can by crew ... from the ground, so 'night time of the bombing' doesn't matter much. People/soldiers on the ground cannot see, what plane is doing, but they can read it off the machine/radar on the floor or off the other plane in the air.

See abilities of AWACS for more.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-05/assad-crossed-many-many-lines-trump-signals-imminent-change-syria-policy

Speaking at a press conference with Jordan's King Abdullah, II, President Trump on Wednesday called the suspected chemical weapons attack on civilians in Syria “a terrible affront to humanity” and hinted briefly that a change in U.S. policy on Syria may be coming as a result. Trump said that he was moved by reports of a deadly gas attack in Syria, saying that the Syrian leader - who has denied being behind the attack - had “crossed a lot of lines.”

“It crossed a lot of lines for me,” Trump said at a press conference with Jordanian King Abdullah II at the White House. “When you kill innocent children, innocent babies, little babies with a chemical gas that is so lethal that people were shocked to hear what gas it was, that crosses many lines beyond the red line. Many, many lines.”

While painfully reminiscent of a similar chemical attack conducted in 2013, which was subsequently revealed to be a false flag, U.S. officials said they believe the attack was carried out by the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad. Which, again, does not make much sense since just days before the chemical attack, Trump administration officials said the U.S. would no longer prioritize regime change in Syria and that they expect Mr. Assad to remain in power. Perhaps the mere suggestion that someone - i.e., US-backed Syrian rebels or ISIS jihadists in the area of Idlib - could engage in a false flag attack is considered too much "tin foil" conspiracy theory.

And so, just hours after Bannon departed his security council, Trump started to shift toward a neo-con posture, saying that the reports of women and children who had died in the "horrible" attack had a "big impact" and caused him to rethink his strategy on Syria.

“I do change. I am flexible. I am proud of that flexibility,” Trump said. “I will tell you that attack on children yesterday had a big impact on me. Big impact. It was a horrible, horrible thing. I've been watching it and seeing it, and it does not get any worse than that. I have that flexibility. And it is very, very possible, and I will tell you it is already happened, that my attitude toward Syria and Assad has changed very much.”

Trump declined to outline what his new approach to Syria may be.

Meanwhile, as reported earlier today, should Trump pick up where Obama left off, and launch a full-blown escalation in Syria or worse, he will have his first official diplomatic collision with the Kremlin, which not only defended Assad earlier today, but said it would continue its military activity in Syria.

Trump-a is changing USA line toward Syria, 'cause they have too! Vlad 'cleaned' them up and as it looks new threat for WW is here.

'False flag' is most likely thingy here IMO, 'cause Trump-a needs excuse for change of policy toward Syria. Or 'deep state' is changing Trump-a's opinion of Syria ....

Overall, in war zone it's very difficult to find the truth of what really happened and who cause it. That is the purpose of 'war zone': 'you/media know whatever we (penta-tlon) tell you ...!'

Commentators below the web link are 'hinting' Trump-a should 'drain the swamp' entirely i.e. Washington DC, and get rid of the 'Heads&nearby crew' of 'cee-aii-ei' and others, who report about happening from the ground in Syria as 'deep state' is reporting lies!

Once again…

The Syrians attacked a terrorist munitions facility full of chlorine powder.

There were some civilian casualties.

The terrorists then publicized the results as a Syrian civilian chemical attack.

Trump better goddam well get some honest and better intel and advice or we are all F’d.

..and it wouldn’t surprise me to if the Chlorine powder came from the CIA.

yeah... I'm thinking like that too...

A know in situations like this there are lots of conflicting information, but a couple stick out with me..

One witness reported seeing the 'chemical' bombs drop (she actually said she knew they were chemical!!) and the yellow and blue gas...

But, other reports say the gases are clear as air... and thus, no colours!

Also, while I don't know much about sarin gas, I do know that chlorine stinks really really badly, and is extremely obvious...

One report even suggested different gases... why the hell would an airstrike use different gases?? This comment would make much more sense if the Russian version were correct - a chemical manufacturing plant was hit.

It's almost laughable just how quick Trump changed his mind on this!

Anyway - we, the sheeples, will never know the truth (for 100% certainty)

Syria Denies, Condemns Use Of Chemical Weapons

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-06/syria-denies-condemns-use-chemical-weapons

"With global sentiment turning against Syria again, and even president Trump yesterday saying his opinion on Syrian policy has changed (it was not immediately clear just how), on Thursday Syria’s foreign minister dismissed allegations that the Syrian Army deployed chemical weapons in the city of Idlib, saying the military will never use such weapons against its own people or even terrorists.

That said, while the presence of sarin gas will almost surely be confirmed, the question remains how the west will prove whose sarin gas it was, although since like in 2013 the "chemical attack" appears to have been a goalseeked event intended to result in a goalseeked outcome, namely to get the US involved in the Syria conflict once again with the intent of removing Assad, we have little doubt that the narrative of Assad - who had little to gain and everything to lose from the alleged gas release - being behind the attack will hardly be challenged in the legacy press."

Vlad's chemists are searching for clues of the explosion/chlorine mixed with NATO investigators .... all in white and very clean looking. One poster, who saw the vid about it asked 'how can ZATO investigators be all white and clean .... if they are in the blast area .....

First Images Of Aftermath Of "Inefficient" US Missile Strikes Emerge

Russia’s Rossiya 24 news channel has revealed the first footage from the Shayrat airbase, which the United States hit with a volley of 59 Tomahawk missiles after an alleged “chemical attack” in Idlib earlier this week.

Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said "the combat efficiency of the US strike was very low", adding that only 23 of the 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles reached the Shayrat air base in the province of Homs and as the following images suggest, they were not as damaging as some may have hoped...

Runway, taxi way, parked jets weren’t damaged as a result of U.S. airstrikes, Interfax reports, citing Russian Defense Ministry.

However, there was some significant damage...

Additionally, Russia says Syrian air defense systems will be bolstered after 6 jets and the radar system was destroyed in the airstrike. 4 Syrian military are reported dead and 2 missing after strike.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-08/hacker-group-releases-password-...

Last August, the intel world was abuzz following the news that a previously unknown hacker collective, "The Shadow Brokers" had hacked and released legitimate hacking tools from the NSA's own special-ops entity, the "Equation Group", with initial speculation emerging that the Russians may have penetrated the US spy agency as suggested by none other than Edward Snowden. The Shadow Brokers released a bunch of the organization's hacking tools, and were asking for 1 million bitcoin (around $568 million at the time) to release more files, however failed to find a buyer.

Attention then shifted from Russians after some speculated that the agency itself may be housing another "mole" insider. At the time, a former NSA source told Motherboard, that “it’s plausible” that the leakers are actually a disgruntled insider, claiming that it’s easier to walk out of the NSA with a USB drive or a CD than hack its servers." As famed NSA whistleblower William Binney - who exposed the NSA's pervasive surveillance of Americans long before Snowden confirmed it - said, “My colleagues and I are fairly certain that this was no hack, or group for that matter, This ‘Shadow Brokers’ character is one guy, an insider employee."

In a subsequent Reuters op-ed by cybersecurity expert James Bamford, author of The Shadow Factory: The Ultra-Secret NSA From 9/11 to the Eavesdropping on America, and columnist for Foreign Policy magazine, he said that seemed as the most probable explanation, and that Russia had nothing to do with this latest - and most provocative yet - hack.

Since then, the Shadow Broker group, whose origin and identity still remains a mystery, disappeared from the radar only to emerge today, when in an article posted on Medium, the group wrote an op-ed, much of it in broken English, in which it slammed Donald Trump's betrayal of his core "base", and the recent attack on Syria, urging Trump to revert to his original promises and not be swept away by globalist and MIC interests, but far more imporantly, released the password which grants access to what Edward Snowden moments ago called the NSA's "Top Secret arsenal of digital weapons."

The article begins with the group explaining why it is displeased with Trump.

Don’t Forget Your Base

Respectfully, what the fuck are you doing? TheShadowBrokers voted for you. TheShadowBrokers supports you. TheShadowBrokers is losing faith in you. Mr. Trump helping theshadowbrokers, helping you. Is appearing you are abandoning “your base”, “the movement”, and the peoples who getting you elected.

Good Evidence:

#1—Goldman Sach (TheGlobalists) and Military Industrial Intelligence Complex (MIIC) cabinet
#2—Backtracked on Obamacare
#3—Attacked the Freedom Causcus (TheMovement)
#4—Removed Bannon from the NSC
#5—Increased U.S. involvement in a foreign war (Syria Strike)

The peoples whose voted for you, voted against the Republican Party, the party that tried to destroying your character in the primaries. The peoples who voted for you, voted against the Democrat Party, the party that hates, mocks, and laughs at you. Without the support of the peoples who voted for you, what do you think will be happening to your Presidency? Without the support of the people who voted for you, do you think you’ll be still making America great again? Do you be remembering when you were sitting there at the Obama Press Party and they were all laughing at you? Do you be remembering when you touring the country and all those peoples believed in you and supported you? You were those peoples hope. How do you be thinking it will be feeling when those people turn on you? Will they be laughing at you, hating you, and mocking you too?

TheShadowBrokers doesn’t want this to be happening to you, Mr. Trump. TheShadowBrokers is wanting to see you succeed.

The hackers then ask Trump whose war is he fighting:

If you made deal(Drunk be telling the peoples about them, peoples is appreciating transparency. But what kind of deal can be resulting in chemical weapons used in Syria, Mr. Bannon’s removal from the NSC, US military strike on Syria, and successful vote for SCOTUS without change rules? Mr. Trump whose war are you fighting? Israeli Nationalists’ (Zionist) and Goldman Sachs’ war? Chinese Globalists’ and Goldman Sachs war? Is not looking like you fighting the domestic wars, the movement elected you to be fighting. You not being in office three months and already you looking like the MIIC’s bitch with John McCain and Chuck Schumer double dutch ruddering each other in the corner over dead corpses.

The post continues by exposing what the ShadowBrokers believe is the general mindset of Trump's support base:

Your Supporters:

  • - Don’t care what is written in the NYT, Washington Post, or any newspaper, so just ignore it.

  • - Don’t care if you swapped wives with Mr Putin, double down on it, “Putin is not just my firend he is my BFF”.

  • - Don’t care if the election was hacked or rigged, celebrate it “so what if I did, what are you going to do about it”.

  • - Don’t care if your popular or nice, get er done, Obama’s fail, thinking he could create compromise. No compromise.

  • - Don’t want foreign wars, Do want domestic wars, “drain the swamp”, “destroy the nanny state”

  • - Don’t care about your faith, you sound like a smuck when you try to say god things

  • - DO support the ideologies and policies of Steve Bannon, Anti-Globalism, Anti-Socialism, Nationalism, Isolationism

Mr. President Trump theshadowbrokers sincerely is hoping you are being the real deal and that you received this as constructive criticism toward #MAGA. Some American’s consider or maybe considering TheShadowBrokers traitors. We disagreeing. We view this as keeping our oath to protect and defend against enemies foreign and domestic. TheShadowBrokers wishes we could be doing more, but revolutions/civil wars taking money, time, and people. TheShadowBrokers has is having little of each as our auction was an apparent failure. icnif77:

I missed the best part on China from the same link:

The github depository of the released code can be found here.

Other hackers organizations confirm, the key released by the ShadowBrokers has been verified:

Inside the NSA dump among many other findings, we find hundreds of NSA attacks on China, as well as penetration attempts in which the NSA "pretends" to be China so one wonders how difficult it would be for the NSA to pretend they are, oh, say Russia?

Additionally, today's revelation exposes hacking attacks on EU states, as well as Latin America, Russia, China, Japan and South East Asia.  Among the contents one also finds the hacking configuration for China Mobile, the world's largest mobile telecom company by number of subscribers (just under 900 million) and market cap.

Another example shows the NSA's EquationGroup tool (ELECTRICSLIDE) impersonating a Chinese browser with fake Accept-Language.

We are in the process of further exploring the disclosed data, and will present any notable revelations in due course, however we find it quite interesting that now that the "rogue" element in the intel community appears to have given up on Trump, they are bypassing the president and taking their war with the "deep state" directly to the people.

Finally, a rhetorical question from Julian Assange on today's revelations:

Just when you thought this day could not get any more bizarre, here comes Reuters with a headline, citing the infamous Syrian Observatory For Human Rights, that Syrian warplanes have taken off from air base hit by U.S., carry out strikes in Homs countryside. JUST IN: Syrian warplanes take off from air base hit by U.S., carry out strikes in Homs countryside - Syrian observatory for human rights — Reuters Top News (@Reuters) April 7, 2017 Reuters adds that the Observatory, "a group monitoring the Syrian war using sources on the ground", said eight people had been killed in the U.S. attack on the airfield overnight, and added that the extent of the damage to the Shayrat air base was not entirely clear, but the Syrian warplanes had "done the impossible" in order to continue using it for sorties, the Observatory told Reuters. Why is skepticism warranted? Russia, Iran Warn U.S. They Will "Respond With Force" If Syria "Red Lines" Crossed Again

A statement issued on Sunday by a joint command centre consisting of forces of Russian, Iran and allied militia alliance supporting Syrian President Bashar al Assad said that Friday's US strike on the Syrian air base crossed “red lines” and it would "respond with force" to any new aggression while increasing their level of support to their ally.

In the statement published by the group on media outlet Ilam al Harbi, the pro-Assad alliances says that “what America waged in an aggression on Syria is a crossing of red lines. From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well."

China sent strong protest to US Embassy in Bejing-duck, because some US spy plane was too close to China from SCS side and similar .....

I am not saying, all other will step in, if USA gets in real fight with one, but there is an alliance, 'cause of US-neo-scon-politcs.

If we 'peek' at Vlad: 'some 40-50 days ago, Ruski called all Russians abroad to return home, and week later Vlad held an-enormous-no.-of-people nuclear attack drill (I don't recall exact no., but 'everybody' participated ....) 'Vlad is ready .....' was/is my observation and 'soup is simmering ....'.

There was also story about 'inter-rupting/ferring the/with Internet' by Ruski ---> allegedly, since Ketchup-guy's statement about 'interferring with one's (USA) Internet is declaration of war ....' and similar.

'Crimea is/was Russian!' and whatever Nulland was doing in Uki was ridiculous. If NATO (WAS) contemplating to surround Russia with some missiles systems in Uki .... another 'riduculous'!

It is so ridiculous, that I thought, they are all in cahoots and making money off the market swings in commodities ....

Do you think, there's possibility Uki will be ZATO-my-friend-o ever? You aren't sane, if so .... 1. Uki will/did freeze last winter, 'cause Ruski demanded money for nat. gas Uki owes to Vlad. 2. Uki economy is great boost to EU economy? hah hah 'ty-beggar ask broke person (EU) for monies to repay debt to Vlad ....'

Nulland and her handlers should go to trial held by Uki and EU, too!

Vlad was giving concessions to Uki at debt repayment since the end of WW II... after Nulland's BS, Vlad closed pipe-line till Uki (or your friend-os in EU) won't meet his demands/repay debt!

Jah love, Jah love, protect us ....

Looking at Vlad's actions, one should study 'chess' ..... to get it!

I mean, saying you have an 'alliance' doesn't actually mean much if one party doesn't really do anything to help enforce the alliance.

The US had a treaty with Ukraine to protect it against aggression. When the aggression came, the US did nothing!

(now, I'm not saying they should have... because, as you point out, the whole Ukraine thing was started off by the US/EU trying to wrest political and economic control of Uk from Russia).

That's why I said/thought, 'Nulland in Uki's was re to Vlad for 'Up-yours' adoption, but when Vlad went for it, Mr. Zato was printing articles about Crimea. ----> 'mincy, fag balls!'

lets stop for a breath of fresh air.

now, why would terrorist want to live around and store any chemical weapons for future use.

Do you think quoran readers who don't go to school to be engineers but blow up shit that engineers make are smart enough to handle, store and safely fight with chemical weapons?

I have been trained with chemical weapons and I dont believe even Russian troops would want to be around storage buildings for chemical weapons if Assad has the weapons. I might as a Russian protect Assad but his troops can be the guinea pigs who play with chemical weapons.

I always hear about rebels with chemical weapons or given to them by the Cia or some other nefarious group, but they never use them on enemies just on their own people to lay blame at someone else or frame some one else with the fault.

I just don't believe the Cia would give weapons to people who might screw up and kill themselves with them first.

I also don't know why you bomb with a chemical weapon along a mountainside village unless you know the wind currents are pushing the weapon toward the mountain and into caves and such things. Chemical weapons can kill both sides with a wind change or shift that is very common along mountain passes.

If the Russians and Obama got rid of all chemical weapons in the 2013 agreement then this story is fake news and never really happened. The biggest confusion in this mess is the body count of 70 people. If your going to use a chemical weapon with the risks and world condemnation, make it count with a highly populated area and get a decent death count for the effort, time, planes, fuel etc. like saddam killing 200,000 kurds.

This sounds almost like you would advocate for getting real information out, such as a real independent investigation... rather than just what the stories in the newspapers are feeding people.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-10/mac-slavo-warns-prepare-war-its-going-obliterate-global-financial-system

You know what’s so tragic about America? Despite all of the wars our nation gets involved in, we’re secretly one of the most peaceful cultures on the planet. We voted for George Bush, because he promised us a non-interventionist foreign policy. We voted for Obama, because he promised to bring the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan. We voted for Trump, because he promised to end the nation building policies of his predecessor.

And that’s the real tragedy. We’ve been voting for peace for nearly 20 years now, and all we get is war.

That should really tell you something. It should tell you that our system doesn’t care about what the president stands for, or what the voters want. The system is never held accountable for anything, so there is nothing stopping it. One way or another, the deep state always gets its way. So if our government wants a war, then you can bet that we’re going to war.

You see, what I am saying? It isn't personal .... my, as you call it 'US-bashing' ....!

trump is not going to start a war in syria, he has been pissed off since jimmy carter did nothing about breaking international law by Iran taking hostages and invading an embassy.

he has said we dont win wars and we dont enforce international law and he said another strike would happen if chemical weapons are used again.

if you going to have international laws that you expect people to follow, somebody has to enforce them.

Reagan did short decisive military attacks and stayed out of prolonged wars, trump will be the same way.

Belgium’s top diplomat has called on US President Donald Trump to make sure his next foreign policy decisions are made within the United Nations’ framework, referring to an order to carry out a missile strike on Syria’s Shayrat Airbase overnight Thursday.

1983 CIA Document Reveals Plan To Destroy Syria, Foreshadows Current Crisis

Prophetically foreshadowing the current crisis (and apparent action plan), leaked CIA documents from the reign of Bashar al-Assad's father in the 1980s show a Washington Deep State plan coalescing to "bring real muscle to bear against Syria," toppling its leader (in favor of one amenable to US demands) , severing ties with Russia (its primary arms dealer), and paving the way for an oil and gas pipeline of Washington's choosing.

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/latest-news/wilkie-urges-australian...

For those who don't know (or recall), Andrew Wilkie was one of Australia's intelligence analysts, and basically said outright that the war on Iraq was unjustified, and that politicians (around the world) were lying about the reasons for going in.

He is, once again, calling for an investigation into the Syrian chemical attack, before just rushing in where morons don't care about treading!

icnif77:

And Wilkie is saying the same as Pieczenik: 'Don't go there ... (Syria).'

It's bankers war! Bastards, they're all making money at new wars.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/tillerson-visits-moscow-trump-calls-assad-ani...

Tillerson is at Vlad's, buTT... meeting only with Lavrov:

excerpt:

It was unclear whether Putin, who once gave Tillerson an "Order of Friendship" award, would grant the visiting American an audience. Though the Kremlin had declined to say whether the leaders would meet, Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday: "There is a certain likelihood."

Moscow has strenuously objected to Trump's decision to launch 59 U.S. Tomahawk missiles at a Syrian air base that the U.S. says was used to pummel civilians with nerve gas, killing more than 80 people. Russia, Assad's staunchest ally, has insisted that Assad is blameless and that it was actually the rebels responsible for the disbursed chemical weapons.

Intelligence services from several Western countries dispute that claim. The health minister in Turkey, which treated many of the attack's victims and conducted autopsies on others, said Tuesday that test results conducted on victims confirmed sarin gas was used.

Tillerson, on a mission to persuade Russia to abandon Assad, issued an ultimatum to Putin before flying to Moscow: Either side with the U.S. and likeminded countries, or with Assad, Iran and the militant group Hezbollah.

But Russia made clear it had no intention to acquiesce. Putin quickly invited the Syrian and Iranian foreign ministers to Moscow on Friday, the day after Tillerson departs.

"Our policy is consistent and it's formulated exclusively on the basis of international law and not under the impact of current opportunistic motives or false choice: 'You are with us or against us,'" Lavrov told Tillerson.

The Trump administration's growing willingness to confront Russia directly is serving another purpose: defanging the perception of coziness between Trump and Moscow. As the FBI and multiple congressional committees investigate potential collusion between Russia and Trump's campaign in last year's U.S. election, Trump can point to his hard-line stance as fresh evidence that he's far from beholden to the Russian leader.

icnif77:

ZeroHedge-rs slightly different take .... on the same:

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-04-12/putin-warns-trust-between-us-and-russia-has-collapsed-under-trump-tillerson-gets-fri

Amid attempts to "clarify areas of sharp difference," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov blasted the Trump administration’s "ambiguous and contradictory" foreign policy at the start of talks with Tillerson in Moscow Wednesday calling the demand for the Kremlin to abandon Assad "absurd." Furthermore, he warned Tillerson that Russia "believes it’s fundamentally important not to let these actions happen again."

After journalists were ushered out of the room, Lavrov's spokeswoman,  Maria Zakharova, wrote on her Facebook page that U.S. journalists traveling with Tillerson had behaved as if they were in a "bazaar"by shouting questions to Lavrov. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Tillerson might meet Putin later on Wednesday if the two top diplomats decided it would be useful to brief the Russian president on their talks. But Peskov too did not hold back his criticism, saying calls from Western powers for Russia to cut support for Assad amounted to giving terrorists a free hand.

  what's 'baazar'? ....

yes, America got rid of the shah by not supporting him, Saddam, the eqyptian that i dont care about his name, and soon the Syrian leader. The problem with getting rid of tyrant leaders is the millions of little tyrants you create in the aftermath, the unintended consequences of so called nuanced for the good of the people foreign policy.

So how did that work out for the inhabitants of Iran, Iraq, and Egypt, is there life any better, with assad gone, does anyone believe life will be better in Syria. Results so far don't provide a good track record for most of the west's idealistic utopian futuristic promises, but we can always invite them to our homes to blow shit up if things don't work out the way we planned. right?
