Working on a student visa is not legal in China.  Yes, you will have "troubles" if caught, from a fine, to jail term and deportation, not allow to re-enter China for years or even forever.  Your university may notify PSB you are no longer a student, and since your visa is valid as long as you are enrolled, could be revoked.

Maybe the kindergarten is not allowed to hire foreigners, that is why they do not provide a work visa support.

Your risk, your hide, your decision.

First, you'd better ask that school to provide a Z visa, if not, and you still want to take a risk to do this job, then also be careful that not to be accused by others. Actually, there are lots of foreigners holding a F/L/X visa to work in China, and no trouble with them.

Traveler:

There is a lot of trouble with teachers working illegally on fake visas. This person is one of those lowlife that arranges fake visas for unsuspecting foreigners, so obviously she will tell you lies.

You can be fined, jailed, deported and banned from China for working on a fake visa, same as in every other country.
