Foreigners are not allowed to practice Chinese Law in the PRC.  They can, while in china, advise about the law for the countries where they are licensed to practice, but a foreigner cannot practice Chinese law here.

So, in that sense, no.

However, if one is willing to do pro bono work in regards to his/her countries laws, I do not know of any.

Oh, did you by any chance get cheated?

harryjohn:

you can say that, Miss A. But the case was like a wrongful dismisal. I came to Zhengzhou October of last year, and before Christmas my employment was terminated before I even finish my three month probationary period. My employers refused to give me any documents or written explanation as to why they decided to let me go. I had 6 months Z visa so I was able to stay and found a way to survive here. I have contacted my agency in my country but they, too, seemed to be in trouble. I have also contacted some goverment agencies who are supposed to do the legal actions for me, but it is taking awhile. Can PSB really intervene on this matter? Is there an expiration for filing a case such like this? I had to find a job first and get my papers done before I decided to finish this unsettled business with my previous Taiwanese employers. I cant fight back without ammunitions. And one more thing, I am just one of the many poor teachers they have cheated and disgraced.

they terminated me because they said i dont know how to teach. i have read and clearly understood the contract, and it is stipulated there that if any case we wont be able to finish our probationary, they will send us back home and they will get us a ticket. But sadly to say, they asked me to pay for the documents they have paid for processing my documents and they wont pay for the airfare. I was all out to agree, but they wont give me any list of the things of I should pay for and they also refused to give me a copy of their termination letter. and what's more, they even held my last salary. they chopped my feet so that i cant run after them. i wanted to go back home because of this mishap. It was very disapponting, but it actually opened more opportunities for me, I have now my own small business here, therefore, for now I am not thinking of leaving this country yet. I still have to get back what I have spent here first. Dont worry crimo, I wont stay here for long because we'll be moving to Brazil by next year. By the way, two weeks after they have dismissed me and that time I was already with another school, they offered me to go back and continue my contract. How was that?

dude (not the dude) go back to your home country and please never come back to china. this is for yourself. chinese employers and businesses can be wrong in many ways. but if you do not have the mental capacity to know when they are in the right then you should seriously pack up and go home. i hope to god you did not pay anyone to look into this case for you.

Createach:

Who the hell are you to say this?!!!!!..............Saying Go Back home to a fellow expat as if this land "China" is your land or something..........WTF?!!!!

if someone cant read a contract. or does not know the language of a basic contract then he /she should not come to china. that is my opinion for their own good.

first off you said they did not tell you a reason in writing? they don't need to tell you a reason in writing during the probationary period. what are you retarded? what good would it do for them to put in writing "you suck at teaching" they verbally told you, which is more than they are supposed to do. they actually did you a favor by not putting it in writing dufus. (how do you spell dufus? doofus? ) they also did you a favor by not canceling your visa. copying and paste the exact cluase(s) that stipulate that if they fire you during the probationary period they will pay for you exit. i have read a lot of contracts and i've never seen that in there. as i said before , please for your own good leave china. china is not equipped to handle special needs cases.

wait are you trying to be arrogant? you are the dope asking for a free foreigner lawyer in china because your school fired you during the probationary period because you suck. and brazil will do the same (unless brazil is your home country, they'll have to put up with you)
