that is the question:
Whether 'tis Nobler in the mind to offer
The yuan and mao of small number,
Or to leave nothing to a Waitress with troubles,
And by stiffing not help end them: to stiff, to give
No more; and by stiffing, to say we end Her incentive to do More,
and make her 'forget' to do the multitude of tiny services
That Waitresses are heir to?
*with apologies to Bill
so guys,,, do u think we should give the young girls are few extra kuai now and then ?
I do, not all the time, but sometimes. never been much, probably not even 10%,, just an extra 2 or 3 rmb or whatever rounds off the cheque...
Q: to tip or not to tip?
from a comment from Da Ben got me thinking about this subject
We dont tip as a general rule at home .However from time to time I might slip a couple of extra Bucks if I think they have gone out of their way to help me.
Even in China on the odd occasion and have had it been refused and told no need.
(that one was hard to believe but true)
I know some people in the USA and other places make their living this way
so what do you think about Tipping?
