Q: Trump's pardon....

No, not him asking 'What?", but the former sherriff who disobeyed the laws he swore to uphold....

https://finance.yahoo.com/news/trump-pardons-former-arizona-sheriff-1434...

Now, before you go jumping in and saying waht Trump did was a good thing, cos we hate those illegal immigrants, and Apaio deserves a medal, consider this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Arpaio

Including - "Arpaio has been accused of various types of police misconduct, including abuse of power; misuse of funds; failure to investigate sex crimes; improper clearance of cases; unlawful enforcement of immigration laws; and election law violations."

Yep - great precedent to set, president!

This was during the black messiah years when no one was enforcing immigration laws and Arizona was getting over run with problems. State wide violent crime dropped 30 percent when the Sheriff defied federal lackeys who would not enforce federal law and did it himself.

He was elected over and over again because the people want somebody to stand up for the people already here.

His violations don't make it right but nobody is arresting anybody in the last administration for failing to do the job. No immigration laws have been passed under Trump, he is just enforcing the laws that nobody bothered to enforce for 8 years before he got there.

Mr. Black Jesus Hussein thought he could get enough illegals in the country in 8 years to change the demographics and make his party the ruler of America for a few decades and he was wrong. Now we see the backlash. If Trump did not pardon him, his 33 percent along with the 66 percent that already don't like him would have kicked him out of town.

Frankly, it's nothing but self preservation, and a smart move.

I'm glad he pardoned Sheriff Joe.  Guy like that is/was tough on criminals, he made sure incarceration was unpleasant.  I agree with that tactic.  I'm not saying abuse, torture or anything like that, but certainly try to make it an experience that would make a person think twice before engaging in a criminal act.  What's that old saying?   'Scared straight' devil

I think we need to control our southern border as best we can.  Was a time when I didn't care so much, migrants came in and did work not a lot of other people would do, but that was a long time ago.  US has a big enough population, and plenty of people on welfare and pulling every scheme they can to take advantage of the place instead of quietly contributing like they did in the old days.

Build that Wall.  MAGA

This is not as clear cut as you make it. And shouldn't be viewed with the lens of racism as Ambi is doing. Is the guy a bad guy, yes. Did he do a good job as an officer as a whole, no.

But he was jailed for arresting illegal immigrants. Let's focus on that issue. Yes he had a very valid reason as Ambi stated because the federal govt as a matter of policy only sought to deport illegals after they've been arrested for crimes. Ambi seems to forget that Obama didn't start this policy (typical right winger bubble) but the policy became stressed during Obama's presidency with the El Salvador refugee crisis. (Ambi can you guess who put that law in that said kids crossing the boarder needed to be detained and get a hearing as opposed to be just deported?) And this increased number of latin Americans crossing the border illegally created a huge surge in gang violence in a border state like AZ. So the bad sheriff did sth good by going after illegals in order get rid of  gangs of illegals. Was there profiling? Lefties, should he have been targeting Russians when you're on the Mexican border? From what I can recall AZ did try to go about it legally but the feds tied their hands (with the help of Hollywood celebrities, not giving a shit about the victims)

Before anyone knocks his tactic, Al Capone went to jail for tax evasion remember? This law enforcement tactic is very common and effective. Giuliani cleaned up NYC with quality of life laws. (yes Guliani is a bad guy, but he did a lot of good for NYC)

He could have pardoned a trans gender freak that leaked military documents....would that have been better? The only reason that thing got pardoned was because he's a freak. His only down fall was he was a cracker.....if Chelsy Manning was a negro Muslim transgender freak...I'm sure they would be erecting a statue in San Fransisco as we speak of that freak.

President Trumps first Christian act. The angels in heaven are singing. Trump has forgiven.

Forgiven what?

Nah, he needs loyal people to defend him. I don't think he done this cos he agrees with the racist Arpaio, he done it to show that loyalty is rewarded.

Its a message to Bannon and Breitbart and fox news.

Loyalty has to be 100%. And never question my inner circle.

I watched some of Hannity of Fox new on youtube today. Fox has been swinging away from Trump since his fine people, both sides, word salad rant. I expected Fox to sack Hannity after that. But this pardon keeps Hannity in a job.

To listen to his supporters such as Hannity etc defend him is sickening. Total blind faith, As is demanded by a demiGod. And the demiGod has flexed his muscle.

Sarah Huckabee saunders will be out next. She has started to ignore questions rather than make shit up.

This is also why he is campaigning on special electiions. He needs people that owe him. So he can own them.

The 1933 guy done the same. But the difference is, that guy done it cos he had an agenda. Trump has none. He does not care what his followers believe, so long as they follow.

In my opinion, his entire staff should have walked out last week.

But maybe they are staying because they know, that if they did, Arpiao might very well be next sec of state.

Loyalty above performance or politics for Trump.

Forget Pence, Tillerson is the best chance for the world to save us from Trumps ego. Putin probably thinks the same.

A:I think the first "not smart" thing you did was to think of everyone as a subordinate. They are in fact your team members. You are also a team member and your role is to supervise, not flex your muscles. It drives you nuts when your boss does this and then you do exactly the same thing. Think about it. Adapt, change, bend the rules and be more efficient. -- iWolf
