I watched American horror story season 1 and liked it but wasn't able to get into any season after that.
I liked the story but just found watching it too dark and depressing.
Vikings is awesome.
Look into Queen of the South, Westworld, Vikings season 2 and 3 lost me. If I'm desperately bored I'll try season 4
I don't watch new TV shows any more. Not a hipster thing, it's just not convenient what with the sh*tty internet here and my lack of interest in modern pop culture. Game of Thrones is the only contemporary show i watch or enjoy.
RandallFlagg:
Nah, hipsters are usually lefties with problem glasses. I just got tired of being told i'm a prick or Homer Simpson-style moron because i'm a straight white male. Most modern TV is propagandistic brain rot.
retiredinchina:
use sharetv.com and download some old shows from the 70 and 80's on torrent sites, yes most new shows have progressive agenda politics involved.
tried to watch robot but the 3rd show had 2 guys doing sodomy.
tried another show i dont remember and the teenage girl white lesbian kissed her black transvestite whatever on the stairs in front of mom and dad like this is normal american family.
i am still pissed that they took smoking out of most tv shows and movies, never was a smoker but i found its just too much political correctness in the media. new shows like banshee, suits, person of interest, and perception were pretty good
Englteachted:
Do you watch NCIS?? Do you notice themm pandering to anyone?
retiredinchina:
i did watch NCIS for a while but there was a controversy about the criminal police around the country saying basically that the technology and lab analysis they use on the show is just not available in most police forces and really just does not happen, the show, along with CSI, built a lot of interest in majoring in criminal justice only to graduate and find out the lab research was a fairy tale because of no funding. i remember the show did keep up with current news and events but i dont think there is a conservative role actor in the show that i can recall, but that would not surprise me at all, haven't watched a show in about 3 years. If you have a left political view, it does make the military out to be full of maladjusted crazy criminals and malcontents. My experience is most of the unsavory characters in military service wash out or get kicked out. the interesting thing i discovered by using torrents with no copywrite worries is most television theme shows from england are copied by hollywood, shameless is a copy of the exact same show in britain with the same character names. seems hollywood is not as creative as most americans think and most tv show ideas are actually started in england and then re done for the american market. Most americans would never know this if they never watch british tv torrents as i do and notice the dates and years they come out.

Rob =- did you ever look at Jessica Jones? A nice take on the superhero theme.
Sherlock is due back in about a week for the latest run - on Jan 1). And I've been watching Elementary, but it gets a little predictable.
Gotham?
iWolf:
My wife downloaded Jessica Jones and it was pretty good. Also the spinoff Luke Cage wasn't bad either. She liked the girl power The 100 which for me, passed the time and was ok. I think Shooter is ok too.
Just started watching The man in the high castle, seems interesting
