Q: Urgent replies needed please
Long story short, I'm trying to make/think of Christmas presents for my friends here, and for one of these gifts I really need answers to this question -
If a 5 ton lorry is moving at the speed of light and drives over your foot what do you think would happen? Do you think it would happen so quickly that your foot would be completely unharmed or do you think it would break every bone or do you predict a different outcome?
Any answers will be amazing, I know this isn't a board of science, but 'm in a hurry and I trust you guys. Go on throw me your best predictions and I'll send you some Christmas cheer!

Nothing would happen to my foot - one, I'm Canadian and thus there's no such thing as a "lorry." Two I wear steel-toed boots, so a five-ton anything would have no impact.
Seriously though, an impact is an impact and so one would suffer injuries - albeit swiftly.

Is there a vacuum where the lorry passes. If not, then maybe your foot is not the only problem, but the heat from the lorry burning up + a lot of turbulence would be a lot worse.
What color is the lorry ?

For argument sake...let's say the lorry is white..no vacuum.
5 ton lorry moving at light speed... The air in front of the lorry would be compressed in a so-called "shock layer". At light-speed, the air would be compressed enough to create a fusion reaction. Meanwhile, the friction of the lorry with the surrounding air would vaporize it, and turn the air into a plasma. Behind the lorry, lots of vacuum, because the lorry move faster than the air molecules.
So let's sum-up
* Front of the lorry have fusion reactions going on
* Lorry is vaporized
* The lorry would have a short trail of plasma behind it. I don't think it would exceed a few millimeters, due to the lorry's vaporization
* All this happen within a dozen of nanoseconds
Overall effect : H-bomb detonation, with much less neutron radiation and radioactive fallout created. Your foot would be ok, however, you would be disintegrated without a trace.

In English, a "Lorry" is what transports goods by load to and from A to B by road. "Truck" is American for lorry.

Assuming a 5 ton Lorry could move at the speed of light, proper shielding etc what ever, Thats a pretty fat woman and if I saw her coming, more like sense it, I'm funny that way with women, I'd move more than my foot. I'd hide. I like skinny women.
