Q: U.S & Turkey mutually suspend visa services? Didn't you prepare?

This isn't a question but rather a wake up call!

My point is simple If  the U.S and Turkey "mutually agree" to stop visa's and even going as far as cancelling the visa they already have in their passports now, than what's from stopping this from happening to Americans in China????

Think about that! My wife hates me these past few years for stopping all investment in China and she hates that I send my salary home every month, I do it because I NEVER feel I'm 100% safe here or like I can stay here forever just because I've got a job & a working visa. This issue with the DPRK and I use the term lightly "might" might caused or force China to take some actions with visa's related to Americans IF a war breaks out. You never know who's side somebody will be on until the last second.

My point is made and proven, 90% can't get green cards and our visa's don't protect or have a method to allow us to stay during a crisis, so I keep investing back home in Stocks, bonds and the housing market.

You young lads better be doing the same, if you think you can just backpack your way through China forever you are wrong, having a wife in China doesn't help with anything, only a Q visa & short cuts.

Be wise with your money and what you spend money on! Sure I don't see any problem like the U.S is having with the Turks now happening in China, but you should be preparing both ways, 1 to live in China meaning only spending money on daily life needs. 2. Invest back home. Thats all, its easy..

So if this was China &  the U.S today my question is simple: Well, didn't you prepare?

Turkey has a dictator now, and the dictator Erdogen wants the guy he blames the flase flag coup on, who currenty has aslylum in the US.

Remember when Trump called Erdogen to congratulate him when he won his dodgy dictator electiion?

Add to that the recent Kurdish vote for a new state. And remember Obama was arming the Kurds in Syria?

One good thing Trump done was to stop arming the Syrian rebels. Not sure if the Kurds are still being armed.

Its a complex situatiion. Even more so that ISIS is on its last legs. And to throw another spanner in the works, the neocons are at work to find an excuse to have a war with Iran.

Turkey is nominally secular. Attaturk set it up that way. Erodgen is trying to take power by creating a n islamic state. Religion being the opium and all that.

Iran also fights Isis. SA support ISIS. USA supports SA.

And last but not least, Turkey is a NATO member. Trump demands NATO members pay more and commit their forces to the US.

Add to all of the above, Russia and its gas pipeline to the Med. It will go through Syria and Turkey. Development of the gas fields a joint venture between Gazprom and Exxonn. A 500 billion dollar deal put on hold by Obamas State Department. A state department now under Rex Tillerson.. ex CEO of Exxonn. The same Tillerson who was reported to have called Trump a fucking moron, 2 days before the visa ban was announced.

The same Tillerson said yesterday that he did not know Trump before he was offered the job.

The same Tillerson who was given a high honour from Putin.

The same Tillerson who was sec of state when they banned giving guns to the rebels in Syria. That would have been his shout.

I follow the Turkish situation on the news cos I have a.couple of mates there.

Yup. Very complex situation.

To be factually correct... it was reported this week that Tillerson called Trump a fucking moron. But he said it months ago... not last week. Reported last week. 500 billion is a lot.

There’s been nothing on the articles I’ve read about cancelling visas. Where did that come from?

ironman510:

U.S. Suspends Visa Services in Turkey, and Turkey Responds in Kind By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS OCTOBER 8, 2017 ISTANBUL — The United States said on Sunday that it was suspending nonimmigrant visa services at its diplomatic facilities in Turkey after the arrest of a consulate employee, prompting Turkey to halt visa services in America. The United States Embassy in Ankara, the Turkish capital, issued a statement from the United States Mission to Turkey saying that recent events had forced it to “reassess the commitment of the government of Turkey to the security of U.S. Mission facilities and personnel.” The Turkish Embassy in Washington responded with a similar statement late Sunday, saying it would “reassess the commitment of the government of the United States to the security of Turkish mission facilities and personnel.” It said the measures would apply to e-Visas, visas issued at borders and visas in passports. Last week, the Turkish authorities arrested a United States Consulate employee of Turkish nationality over alleged links to the network of the United States-based cleric Fethullah Gulen, whom the Turkish government blames for last summer’s failed coup. Mr. Gulen denies involvement. The employee, Metin Topuz, is accused of espionage and “attempting to overthrow the Turkish government and constitution.” Turkey’s official Anadolu news agency reported that he was accused of communicating with former police chiefs in a 2013 corruption inquiry, 121 people involved in the attempted coup and hundreds of people using an encrypted mobile messaging app. The United States Embassy said it was “deeply disturbed” by the arrest. The American statement said the suspension of nonimmigrant visa services was “effective immediately” to minimize visitor numbers to the United States Embassy and Consulate for now. The suspended services will affect visas for business people, tourists, medical patients, students, journalists and treaty trader, as well as diplomatic and official visas. Relations between Turkey and the United States have been tense over disagreements about Syrian Kurdish fighters, whom the United States backs in the war against the Islamic State. Turkey considers them a terrorist group and an extension of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, which has waged an insurgency within Turkey for more than 30 years. A brawl during a visit by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey to Washington in May led to the indictment of 19 people, including 15 Turkish security officials. Mr. Erdogan called the indictment “scandalous” and said that his security detail had been protecting him against Kurdish militants protesting outside his ambassador’s residence.

Sorry but can you point out where it says they’ll cancel current visas?

you might have read this part and got a different understanding to me. My understanding is that they’ll STOP issuing new visas, NOT cancel visas already issued ed.

It said the measures would apply to e-Visas, visas issued at borders and visas in passports

Smart move, never keep  more than the absolute minimum in china.

Hell, look at CCP's inner circle. Where are they stashing their cash and where are their children and grandkids? Look at daluren, for those who can sleaze off with their filthy monies how many stay in china?

Your wife's mentality is  typical daluren's  dichotomy. On one hand, their parents are stuck in china, they are brainwashed to love their country and hate the wealthy evil West. 7/24 they are doing their best to suck every bit of money into china, include telling you to buy a worthless pile of bricks in china, the biggest property scam on this planet.   On the other hand, they know what a shithole china and how low the quality of mainlanders en masse speaking is.  This dichotomy causes their their split-personality disorder and schzophrenia.

If you read the locals' comments on articles on iPhone sales you know how much they hate America, no sane reasonings whatsoever. Not because of technical flaws but simply because it is another American icon. They call those among them who use iphone traitors,  laowai's ass kissers....etc. Sour grapes, jeolous of those who are richer than them, so-called class wars, live in hatred and anger, sustain their ,forward drive through hatred and desire for vendetta, daluren en masse are psychotic, young and old.

'We live like rats so we can kill all you mf'ers one day'.  You have to be retarded to expect these psychos to let you run off with the money you earn from them. Just wait till these psychos grow 'stronger' and see what happens to your money.........

Go ask the South Koreans too.http://answers.echinacities.com/question/wakeup-call-lotte-korea-still-wanna-keep-your-monies-commieland

Hotwater:

That’s quite a rant but bugger all to do with the USA & Turkey stopping issueubg visas for each other’s countries.

Youre getting more & more anti-China everyday and your rants getting more rabid

Read the entire OP instead of just the title. I am responding to the points mentioned in the body. Why not say something intelligent such as pointing out the fallacies in my comment rather than making ignorant accusations?

So what if I am against certain behaviors of china and daluren? Any country or people with these behaviors I am against.
