Q: Watercube Waterpark worth it?

My Chinese girlfriend just called me on my new 700 RMB iPhone 4 (I bought a new one since I am still waiting moar and moar for my old one's replacement because it was a fake) and just said we are invited next week to go to the Watercube Waterpark. But I was expecting to do the company's bonding activity that particular day. I told her that would be impossible because she knows dancing takes priority over everything, so she would have to pick another day and that again she was wrong.

She got mad and I was caught off guard. How could I pour her a glass of wine since I wasn't home? So I told her that again, she was moar and moar wrong to get mad because I'm not against going to the Waterpark - I haven't got to wear my green-dotted silver speedo outside home yet - but that the date was a big no-no. She got really mad, so to appease her, I told her I would think about it and that we'll have the conversation after I finish work. Then I'd be able to open a bottle of red wine so she'll calm down and realize her mistake.

But I was wondering, is the Watercube Waterpark a good place to exhibit my green-dotted silver speedo, or should I wait until we go to the beach next time we take vacations?

And how is the Watercube Waterpark, what can I expect of it?

I think it is worth going to. Really it is a beautiful pool and it only costs 50 RMB to take a swim. It is definitely worth going to at least one time.

But please don't show off your green-dotted silver Speedo, that is just nasty, keep that at home for your girlfriend.

The water cube is alright. Haven't yet been to the water park. But my money is still on going to the National Center for the Performing Arts, and while you are there you can *try* to show off your bathing suit look in the moat outside.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
