foreign surgeons in China? you mean like international clinics? Must be sky-high, though I don't see why anyone would come here to do that, as they would probably be able to earn more back home.

As far as Chinese surgeons go, for junior doctors it can be quite low early on, around 5,000 RMB, but more senior surgeons can gain a bit more. It can go from 15,000 all the up to 50,000 RMB a month.

Plastic surgeons, though? The top plastic surgeons in China make over $2 million a year...convert that to Chinese RMB and you've got quite a healthy salary to live on.

It will be double your counter parts. As a Foreign Surgeon in China, I'm sure you've found out that most of the doctors have a undergraduate degrees, or a Masters on the Weekend Degree. They also don't really specialize in any certain area. The surgeon who did my throat surgery also did the bone surgery on my foot. He's a good friend of mine, at least he was honest before removing my tonsils, techezee I'm not going to lie, your the first person we've used this new laser on, so I'll try to keep the mistakes minimual. I wish he would of said that before he said, now just breathe deeply and you'll be asleep momentarly.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
