Q: What did you do t-day?

T-day also commemorates World Environment Day (or Earth Day)... (or was it yesterday??)

It has been around for over 20 years now.

Did you do anything special for it? Such as, tell your students all about it? Did you do some music? Sing songs? Do some square-dancing? Suggest we need to stand up for what's important and tell those who want to destroy what's precious that it's not ok?

(I must admit, it was one of my students who informed me of this date... i'm more interested in World Peace Day).

Do you think most Chinese are even aware of this date and it's importance? Do they care??

I filled my tank at $1.50 a litre then drove to work in my old gas guzzling truck.  I left the heat on in my apartment all day because it's freaking cold.

But I did leave my empty beer bottles out back for the bin divers.

In China I have almost no carbon footprint but at home it's pretty hard.
