I'm a CBC that speaks Cantonese.  There's not that much difference between HK and GZ Cantonese unless they are from another city'/village in Guangdong.  Depending on where they're from, their dialect does inject some differences in tone.  However, I would say that the biggest difference between HK and GZ Cantonese is that HK people use a lot more English terms/expressions in their daily speech, whereas GZ Cantonese use a more 'pure' form of Cantonese, ie, Chinese expressions only.
