Q: What do you do if someone gives you food as a present?

Here not thinking about a bag of oranges, but something cooked, dumplings, some spices shrimp or the likes.

do you

a)  throw it out right away

b) think about eating it before throwing it away

c)  put in in your fridge thinking it will be great the next day, but then you throw it away and eat out

d) feed some of it to some stray cats to see if they survive, so it is safe to eat

e) give it to a homeless

f) just eat it

i just just got some food that I think has been uncooled for a day.

Depends on who gave it to you I think. If it's from someone whom you've been jerking around then better not eat it, just to be safe, cos you may crap out the rest of the day. If it's from someone close, then by all means. If it's from your neighbors, it's normal because Chinese like to give neighbors food to promote neighborliness.

I wouldn't eat it matey.  The standards just aren't high enough for an obsessive compulsive bastard like me.  Chuck it out.  That is, unless you're starving hungry and too pissed to go out for something.

I go with your e & a myself.  In fact that is what I do with everything (gifts, old clothes, furnishings, etc.) I don't want.  I figure throw it next to rubbish-bin in apartment building and the cleaning ladies will see it is utilized.
