I think they probably get that idea from the majority of male posters on here and their blatant objectification of Chinese women.

I think anyone saying that is gonna be a loser for a few different reasons. Typical blame the other group to avoid having to blame yourself.

I've written before that you take the 'stat's of even a pretty modest westerner and give them to a local guy and he'll have...if anything MORE options than we do to date local girls. 

Setting the bar at just average, so not a handsome young go getter or a creepy old fat guy...you show me a local guy who is 180 cm tall/75KG+, who is in his 20s/30s and can make 10K+ a month if he wants, holds a western passport etc, whose parents are homeowners etc... That guy can get a pretty girlfriend no question.

No westerner here is dirt poor except by choice or gross incompetence/negligence. I think what moves the needle on dating prospects is not being poor much more than being foreign.

The sad part is there really aren't nearly enough women to go around...and that's these same losers parents fault. They're the generation that aborted all those girls to put their son in that position. I guess you can't blame the guys for being miserable.

Bad apples get more publicity than the good ones, I guess. Add some old insecurity regarding anything not Chinese, some personal insecurity as well, and there, you got "those foreign hooligans who are stealing our women". Women as a commodity, ok, some work to be done on men/women place in society. By the way, your comment on Chinese men is not much better, there are decent men too in China, and I won't pretend to know the proportion.

It bugs my wife much more than it bugs me. She feels a lot of stress about being perceived as "that girl who went with a foreigner for the passport/income/escape". Me, I've no problem to just ignore it (unlike many other issues with life in China).

You're doing the exact same thing by saying that Chinese are worse than foreigners and that they frequently get drunk and cheat on their wives. Some Chinese men do this and some foreign men treat Chinese girls in a less respectful way than they would a girl from their own country. 

I understand its tiring to be stereotyped, especially as some kind of sleazebag, but there are lots of people who don't think that way. 

I didn't especially come to China to get laid, at first I came here expecting to discover a new culture. However I can't deny the fact that getting laid in China is incredibly easy as a young caucasian male, the most beautiful girls (models and so on) almost give themselves away to you even if you show no sign of interest on your part. I had more partners in a few years in China than since I first became a man, and this without even actively looking to get laid.

I think that's a really unfortunate and unfair stereotype, but I was surprised to find that when I dated western men here, their attitude towards me was very different to their attitude towards Chinese girls. One of them literally said to me,  'I really care about you, you're not just like some Chinese girl who I'm sleeping with'... I was gobsmacked to say the least. 

I say what about Chinese men, there is so much sex for sale and that isn't there for foreigners. It's there for Chinese men. There is nothing like that at home. It's part of Chinese culture.

I've NEVER paid for sex, but Chinese guys do this all the time. Hookers are EVERYWHERE! EVERYWHERE! You can't walk down the street without encountering a hooker.

So if we're coming to China "just to have sex," it's because their country's system allows it. It's because their women allow it. It's not so much that the foreigners are losers, it's just that everyone wants and like sex, aside from a few people.

I've only been with 3 women. Sex isn't something to throw around for me. I think anyone sleeping around has some serious problems, regardless of how successful they are, regardless of their skin color, nationality, or anything else. To me, sex is sacred. Well, except for that one time when I almost had a threesome with my ex and her much hotter mom.

But seriously... if sex is your #1 priority, something is wrong with you. I say this being an extreme sex addict myself... something's wrong with me, lol. But I have some self-control, so...

I don't care. If someone believes that it saves me the trouble of having to find out later that they are an idiot.

Always when I hear that all foreigners who come to China are losers in their home countries and they came here just to get laid so I never feel like replying because if someone can have such a ridiculous point of view so there is almost certainly no way how to communicate with such a person on any reasonable level. And exactly due to the same reason I am also not annoyed by such comments - why to let your inner harmony being disturbed by soem lunatics weird point ofo view?
However we from time to time touch such topic with some of my friends. Then I usually ask them what does it matter even if it's true. For sake of example let's imagine a person who is starving in the home country due to the total lack of usuable abilities. Such person finds the job in China, moves to China and starts earnign for China scales quite high salary. This then continues for quite a long time and leaving the job, if that is the case, is usually not the employers decision, because they are usually quite happy with the foreigners performance, but the person's decision as she/he found something even better. Generally this is how we define success! In other words this person found the right environment where her/his skills can bring her/him the benefits required. And it absolutelly does not matter that in the home country this set of skills is deemed useless. In other words if you put fish into desert so the fish dies. But if you put the desert animal into the middle of the sea so this animal also dies. However both of these in their right environment have no trouble to excell.
As long as foreigners can win in more or less fair competition in more or less free market so they are in the right place (putting the blame on the outside look - what I mean is saying that the pure fact they are foreigners made them succeed - is sometimes correct but irrelevant - there are many highly valued jobs all over the world, China including, where the main pre-requisite is the outside look of the candidate - for isntance modeling but there are many others).
What concerns of getting laid desire so what's wrong with that as long as it is consensual?

I think it's a ridiculous generalization and they've pretty much got me figured.

As I lived in Russia and South Korea before China, I'd say my moving to China certainly was not a search for pretty girls...

I think the rumour is pretty much true.....  come here, get laid, and never want to leave...... I too have been around the world ....  pretty good spot to land, in my opinion.

What's wrong with getting laid if both parties agree? 

Well, if you think about. China is the most populated country... how did they end up that way? Sex. 

So why shouldn't a foreigner come to China to get laid? Why shouldn't they be allowed on some of that action? 

If I think about this, then it's not the foreigners that are losers. This says that the Chinese are way too easy.
