Just use your bank card.

. I booked an international flight with my debit on ctrip before.

some of us don't like our bank account card number hanging out on some vendor's server for a hacker to go shopping.

How do I pay for my flight?

For international flight reservations, you may pay by credit card using our online system. For domestic flights, you can pay via credit card or PayPal.

However, PayPal payment is only available when booking a domestic flight departing more than 24 hours after the time of booking. We do not currently accept payment via debit card or cash.

Have 2 bank accounts and send money to the other and use that to buy things online, even if someone hacks it wont matter....or get a credit card like a normal person.even if you dont use it you should still have it for certain things...like what you need it for now.

You can try to find a ctrip broker and pay for it in person.

I love Ctrips IF I use it in Chinese, because the Chinese Ctrips website allows you to pay by using Wechat to scan and you paid in just a second.

If you know your way around Chinese sites and forms or by using dictionaries and only translating tools for copy and paste stuff you can make it work too.

I never use the English Ctrips version, it doesn't allow us to pay by Wechat

diverdude1:

wow,,, I didn't know the chinese site took wechat pay ! awesome!  u used on international flights b4?

I have no problems using C-trip (most of the time... I don't immediately recall a problem that was from their end.. had a few from mine).

One annoyance was knowing a cyclone was going to hit in 3 days, but I wasn't allowed to change to an earlier flight because it hadn't been "announced yet". So, I had to pay a change fee. Said cyclone ended up being the worst the city had had in... decades? Ever??

As for troglodytes.... I've tried to buy things from US companies via CC, and the tossers expect me to not just give them my card number (including security code on the back), but ALSO want a photo of ME, and the card... AND my ID!!! Talk about troglodytes!!!

Add to that the various VPN companies that want full information... address, phone numbers, etc... ain't the point of such things to be anonymous??

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
